Georgie Sian (@georgiesian) scoured her entire house, only to find her husband, Zac Norris, in the garage, glued to an old carton of memories. For a second, she couldn't recognize him; all she saw was a little boy, lost in his toys as if nothing else mattered. Sian's video has over 2 million views on her Instagram page.

Norris thought his parents had thrown away his toys, unaware they were in his garage, safely sealed in a carton box. However, when he found those toys, he turned into a little boy who used to spend hours hooked on them. When his wife, Sian, found him, Norris was sitting on the ground, fully absorbed in the '90s nostalgia. When he saw Sian quietly admiring him, Norris gave her a soft smile before returning to his toys. He then showed his wife his collection, and she stood there admiring his inner child. "This is so beautiful. Transported right back to the very moments he sat in his yard playing with them all," Sian confessed. If you carefully look at Norris's little collection, you see no gadgets like the ones today's kids are obsessed with. In fact, all his toys are simple, hands-on playthings that made his childhood memorable.

The widespread availability of high-tech gadgets, such as video games and PlayStations, has pushed kids away from traditional games. For instance, parents in a survey confessed their kids from age 6 to 14 spend two-and-a-half hours a day on smartphones, tablets, and the telly. They also noted that only 34% of kids play with physical toys, while only 31% prefer reading a book to relax. Parents are evidently worried by the growing trend; in fact, 63% wish their kids spent more time in fresh air, but nearly half (43%) confessed that their kids prefer screen time over anything else. The same poll found that a quarter of kids show zero interest in outdoor activities and instead spend time watching TV (59%), gaming (54%), and doomscrolling (41%).

Meanwhile, reacting to Sian's adorable Instagram reel, @scampvero commented, "Nostalgia. It is the best feeling in the world. I’m 38 and always chasing that feeling." @kendra_portill o_ wrote, "I can see the little boy that he was and still is. Ok, I'm going to cry… that was so cute watching him with his toys." Similarly, @ayyyman94 shared, "When I was younger, I was always confused why older people liked 'old' things (cars, movies, music, etc.). I always thought newer was better. Now I’m older, and I finally understand." @da_don_marley_ commented, "Yeah, this is wildddd. It's like you can see bro reliving the memories and remembering what it was like when he was a kid… almost for a split second I saw a kid version of him… cool af."
