Man thinking his daughter's pregnancy reveal onesie is a gift for their dog is the most dad thing ever

People go to great lengths for pregnancy reveals these days. However, the ideas of the younger generation might be a bit difficult to understand for the elderly parents. That is what exactly happened when a daughter announced her pregnancy to her family. Cleo Massey–who goes by @cleomassey_ on TikTok–shared a hilarious video of the epic misunderstanding her dad went through as she tried to reveal her pregnancy. Massey brought a gift for her family to open as everyone was gathered in one place.

The dad unwrapped the gift and gradually opened it. It turned out to be a baby onesie. While the other family members were purely shocked, the dad started laughing wholeheartedly. He said, "It is for Crumpet." For context, the daughter shared that as she tried to reveal her pregnancy using he gift, her dad thought it was for the family's dog. As everyone chanted "Oh my god" and turned towards Massey, the dad still stood there in confusion, not understanding what was going on. The family congratulated their daughter. Someone screamed, "It's not for Crumpet," as realization finally dawned upon the dad. He got really excited and came towards the camera.

People took to the comments to react to the funny misunderstanding. @thatblondechick83 wrote, "When dad starts announcing it's for Crumpet, I lost it, LOL." @jchillls commented, "The mom understands immediately while the dad thinks it's for Crumpet." @g1ana_ remarked, "Now, how was that onesie going to fit Crumpet." @ajmilagros expressed, "As if that onesie would have ever fit Crumpet. Because of the dad's funny mistake, people requested Massey to share a picture of the dog in question. @jade.edw said, "We need to see Crumpet immediately." So, in a follow-up video, Massey showed Crumpet and said, "I get it. I would want to see Crumpet too. She is queen. She is my baby doll." Crumpet turned out to be a big fluffy dog who was carried by her dad so her paws would not get dirty. It was quite evident that the dad absolutely adored Crumpet. In the end, they took the dog to the park to play. When people eventually saw Crumpet, they had a hearty laugh over the fact that the dad really thought the little onesie would fit on that big dog.
