Man stands up for his wife after stranger questions why she deserves her $35,000 wedding ring

Love can take up many forms and one among them is standing up for your partner and being their support system. No matter how small or big the situation is, having your loved one by your side, stepping in for you, is undoubtedly one of the best expressions of life. A TikTok account, @ieinbesties_, run by Stephanie Ramirez and Vanessa Cazarez, shared a heartwarming example of the same, shedding light on the importance of standing up for your loved ones in any way you can.

In one of their episodes, the hosts shared a clip from @thedesirabletruth of a couple being interviewed. In the video, the interviewer randomly asked the couple, questions about their married lives and how they came together. He then proceeded to ask the guy how much he had paid for his wife's wedding ring. To this, the man responded by saying $35,000. The interviewer then turned to the woman and asked. "He spent that much on a wedding ring for you as a gesture. What do you do for him?" The man did not like that his wife was being put in a position to answer that question.

He stepped up for his wife and went to the mic and said, "I think I can answer that question." Without giving it much thought, he immediately said, "I get a partner that's loyal, I get the mother of my children. I get the most beautiful woman that I've ever been around." He further highlighted more abstract gestures that one notices only out of pure gratitude and love. He said, "The most important thing is how she treats me and my family and her family. So, for me, I have a partner for life." All the while, his wife could not help but look at him in awe, knowing she'd found her Mr. Perfect. The man concluded by saying, "It's worth every investment there is."

The hosts of the podcasts shared their input on how the man chose abstract points, which most people miss to mention contrary to materialistic ones. The duo hosting the podcast was charmed by the fact that the man understood a woman's contribution and the value of what she brings to the table.
