Man shows up with 'dad-starter-pack' to the hospital room and it's a hilarious hall-of-famer dad move

One of the integral aspects that keep the relationship going for the long term is humor. People who find humor even during gloomy days, often make their surroundings happier. That was the case for new mom Amber Caetana–who goes by @ambercaetana on TikTok. She recently gave birth to a baby boy and her tiresome days in the hospital with her newborn were uplifted by her husband Royce Caetana's amusing shenanigans. Earlier this May, Amber shared the hilarious way Royce dressed up emphasizing the fact that he was now a "father." The video garnered nearly 5 million views and people found Royce's looks too relatable.

The 8-second video showed Royce carrying his little one in the baby car seat while leaving the hospital. "Walked in a husband, walked out a straight-up dad," quipped Amber in the text overlay. The wife was so amused that she had to share her husband's complete "dad" look as he walked along the hospital hallway. The polo t-shirt tucked into the denim knee-length shorts with a pair of white New Balance kicks would take one back to the childhood days when dads used to dress up like this everywhere. "He's been waiting to do this since we first found out we were pregnant. It's the New Balance 608 for me," said Amber in the captions.

People were in stitches looking at the new father mocking the older generation dads and couldn't agree more with his outfit. "You look exactly like my husband has since 1998 when we had our first child. You nailed it!" lauded @nomommadrama. "New Balance and ankle socks! Perfect! At least he didn't wear the sandals with socks," said @carolynhornganzelli, to which Amber replied, "He had those as a backup." @chymosdope pointed out, "I'm forever confused. My dad's been rocking the same fit my whole life. I'm 30 and have never seen that man buy clothes a day in my life. Do they just spawn randomly when unlocking the Dad level? Lol."

While Royce's "dad starter pack" went viral, Amber shared a part-2 video of the new dad mastering not just the looks but also the body language of 80s or 90s dads. The video, which gained over 25 million views, shows some guests who have arrived to visit the new mom and her baby and that's when Royce makes a hilarious entrance in his "dad" outfit. As he opened the door, he asked, "Anyone order a father?" and the guests could not help but crack up at his looks.

Adding more to his hysterical looks, Royce stepped forward and started doing lunges, leaving everyone in the room in stitches. "Just missing the phone belt holster. I wish we would have gotten everyone's reactions," Amber mentioned in the caption. For any new mom who is tired after giving birth and constantly feeding the baby day and night, even the simplest amusements like these would be enough to relieve them of their stress. Royce kept up his "dad starter pack" even while taking his newborn home and it's proof that not every situation needs a serious outlook.
