Man shares the precious moment of walking his daughter down the aisle with her stepfather

Wedding season needs you to get your tissues from your pockets because there is an emotional flood that takes place during the occasion. Apart from having tear-jerking moments with the bride and groom, it is a heart-melting event for the family members, friends and many others. There is so much love and growth involved in this sacred celebration. Kelsey Griffith - who goes on TikTok by @_kelseygriffith_ - shared a similar moment between her father and stepfather on her wedding day.

Griffith shared a warm moment between her father and stepfather as she walked down the aisle on TikTok. Her dad decided to share the most-awaited moment of walking his daughter down the aisle with Griffith's stepfather, Andy. The video began with the bride walking down the aisle as the crowd looked on with blessings and love. Further down the aisle, halfway before she could reach the altar, her dad invited her stepfather to join them. He very calmly stopped and warmly shook Andy's hand and invited him to join them. The dad duo held their daughter as they completed the walk to the altar.

The gift of having your father give you away was doubled for Griffith as both her dads joined her in the symbolic tradition. She captioned the video, "My dad surprised my stepdad by including him in our walk down the aisle." Griffith also posted on Instagram, where she gave a little context about the scenario. She shared a few images of her dad-duo with her walking down the aisle and captioned it with her backstory. She said, "We had kept it a secret until the ceremony, so everyone was surprised when we included him." She also mentioned that her stepfather Andy helped raise Griffith since she was nine years old. "He deserved a little moment of recognition on our wedding day." Griffith mentioned in her caption how proud she was of her dad for his selflessness and generosity. "It was an incredibly sweet and humble gesture to include him and I'm beyond proud of my dad for doing so," she said.

Her post also included a video capturing the bridesmaid's and groom's reactions. The entourage was in complete awe and teared up at the sight. Griffith proudly held her heroes as she completed the walk to begin a new chapter in life.
