The man took everyone down memory lane with the bizarre and impulsive shenanigans that 90s kids indulged in.
The 90s were a time when kids didn't have access to the internet and technology like today. Their childhood was vastly different from everyone who was brought up with the internet. They had to find multiple different ways to keep themselves entertained which are very peculiar to every generation who came next. @90skid4lyfe shared a nostalgic video spilling the beans on all the bizarre things 90s kids would do to pass the time. Right from playing outdoors to fidgeting with the most mundane things, kids back then sure knew how to creatively keep themselves busy.
Each act shared in the video brings memories rushing back to every millennial. While kids today spend their free time on gadgets or doing something versatile and contemporary, the 90s kids took things simple and natural. Sharing the first glimpse, the man is seen using the good old smooth eraser and impulsive poking holes into them. While the video may be triggering for some, it is to be noted that it was a simple form of fun and frolic backed with impulsive and spontaneous bursts of energy the older generations just couldn’t resist. Next, the person was seen sliding the tip of their finger across the gap between two bricks of a wall to wipe out the dust.
This was followed by a series of hilarious uses of stationery and school supplies. Right from using a mechanical pencil to pretending to inject oneself, pushing down all 4 compartments on the multi-colored pen and rolling the strap of the backpack till one can’t roll anymore. Up next was the typical, “trying to catch the stream of water” from the tap, kicking the backpack while walking and using the claw clip not to hold hair but to hilariously hold the finger captive. Skipping stairs, playing with the switches, leaving the switch midway just to fulfill the curiosity of what would happen, were also a couple things that 90s kids engaged in.
No one can miss the next trick, wrapping an elastic rubber band around the fingers in a way that when it was released, it would fly. Lastly, came the series of actions which were the most relaxing. These activities as simple as they were held one’s wish to grow up already and the innocence of being just a 90s kid. The nostalgic bursting of bubbles in the bubble wrap and taking “shots” from the soda or water bottle caps, all captivated a millennial’s heart as a treasured memory. “Man, to be a kid again,” the caption read. People in the comments couldn't help but remember the good old days of childhood. @darkestfantasy said, “I feel like this video hypnotized me.” @weirdmama19 joked, “This convinces me that none of us had a unique childhood. This makes me so nostalgic, wish I could go back.”
