Man reveals hidden toilet location on a normal commercial airplane leaving everyone in shock

Sometimes people might come across unusual things in usual places. It is quite fascinating to find such things when you are just going on with your day. Similarly, a man found a hidden washroom during one of his flights and was quite impressed to see the location. He was even more surprised because it was a normal commercial flight and there was nothing special about it but the washroom's location was still completely unexpected. So, Downie—who goes by @downielive on TikTok—took to the platform to show people the hidden washroom.

"Have you ever seen this before?" the text overlay of the video read as the man showed people around the plane before he revealed his new find. "This is a normal commercial airplane. It's not a double-decker, it's not a Boeing 737, it's not AE 3rd 8380...but the bathroom is downstairs," he explained as he opened the door to a stairway that led to the bathrooms. He even stepped downstairs to show people the covered and separate area that had them. "How cool is that? Crazy," Downie expressed. "I’ve never seen this on a plane before. Lufthansa A340-600," the caption read.

The video received over 5 million views and more than 238k likes. People in the comments section were divided over the bathrooms. While some felt that the location was great for its privacy, others were concerned about how it wouldn't be accessible to many people. @a30043 expressed, "Accessibility is not a thing in this airplane." @camtickaboz wrote, "Yes….I don’t want to smell the bathroom anywhere near my seat!" @actuallyanaccountant remarked, "What’s crazy is the bathroom not being completely full with a damn line going to it like every flight I’ve been on lately, lol." 

@hipoldguy pointed out, "Yeah they traded some cargo space for bathrooms and gained seats? Perhaps, the equivalent seat versus cargo space makes them more money, also more pleasant not having a bunch of toilets." @don_eg_sr commented, "That means they took the rest area away from the flight attendants."

In another similar story, a flight attendant revealed the secret behind a single black triangle that can be seen above a certain window seat on a plane. The triangle is small enough to go unnoticed but it has a very specific meaning behind it as shared by Henny Joyce Lim who goes by @_hennylim_ on TikTok. The woman revealed that the window seat with a black triangle on top of it is the one that gives the best view of the wings. "If flight crew need to check the wings these triangles let them know the best vantage points for the slats and flaps outside," Lim explained. 

"If you are flying an airline that allows you to choose your seat, look for one of the triangles in the cabin. Anybody who loves taking window shots or videos will get the best view of the wings from these seats," the flight attendant suggested. She also pointed out that mostly, the seats marked with the triangle are number 10 or 18 but that can vary based on the aircraft the person is traveling in through the video's comments section.
