Whether you are heading to the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort, there are so many activities for visitors to enjoy. From fun rides to meeting Disney princes and princesses and mouth-watering food, Disney parks are the most fun places on earth. While these resorts are the ultimate destinations for kids, many adults who grew up watching Disney movies plan proposals and weddings at a Disney Theme Park. However, things do not always go the way we want them to. One Disney fan, Kelly Lavery Kirby, shared a video where her now-husband repeatedly proposed to her at Walt Disney World, and she ran away from him each time out of embarrassment.

Being proposed to romantically is every girl's dream, and if you are a diehard Disney fan and your fiancee just popped the question in one of their parks, what more could you ask for? But as it turns out, Kirby hates “making a scene” and having a lot of attention focused on her, so her husband, Dan Kirby, thought it would be hilarious to publicly propose to Kirby at Walt Disney World, to “troll” her. And propose he did. Ten times. According to TODAY, in the TikTok video—which was filmed in 2017 but is resurfacing now—Dan, 36, is seen dramatically dropping to one knee while waiting in line for rides, at a restaurant and while posing for pictures in front of large crowds. While he laughs, a petrified Kirby storms away each time.

During the restaurant proposal, when Dan clinks on a glass before popping the question, Kirby gets flashbacks from what had happened during the day, and she's had enough. "Dan! Dan!" she says, tugging his wrist, clearly agitated. "This isn't funny anymore." Since then, the duo are married and have three beautiful children. “It was annoying, but I wasn’t mad at him. That’s just Dan,” Kirby shared, noting that her sister Brianna was in on it, too. “I’d be sitting down, and he would come up and sneak attack, and she’d take a picture.” Five years have passed since the hilarious prank, and it gives the Kirbys a good laugh now and then.

"It was all in good fun," Kirby says. "Some people have been commenting that Dan is such a j*rk, but he's not. I want to be clear about that." Kirby revealed that the real proposal took place at their home a month before their Disney trip and that there was no audience at the time. “I was getting ready for work and he did it in our mudroom,” she said. “There was no theatrics. It was perfect.”

The now-viral video has garnered over 7.2 million views, with hundreds flocking to the comments to laugh out loud at Kirby's reaction. "I watched this 5 times, laughing harder every time," said @angelargoodwin. "'I’ve been waiting my whole life' and the dinging on the glass had me lol," added @goodgameslapass.

Many even noted that Kirby was embarrassed and crippled with social anxiety every time he bent down. "When he started doing it in line where you couldn’t run away," commented @ashleybow_art. "Tell me you have social anxiety without telling you have social anxiety," added @echie1979. "Kelly was living in pure fear that entire trip," noted @poopdodiscoop. "Honestly I think I'd die. I can't even handle people at other tables having happy birthday sung to them," said @stormkestrel.
