Barber shops seem to be a hotspot for wholesome events to take place. A barber shop in Cincinnati made headlines after the establishment decided to give disabled kids free haircuts. Vernon Jackson is the founder of Noble Barber and Beauty, a barbershop that almost exclusively caters to disabled kids. He is presently making a difference in the area, transforming lives one haircut at a time. Since 2021, Jackson has been dedicating his days off to providing haircuts for individuals he refers to as "the gifted."

Jackson spoke to CBS News, saying, "I was hearing so many horror stories that parents were going through with other barber shops and just the barbers or stylists having no patience with their child." He stated how he wanted to come in on his off days to give them the attention that they needed without having anybody else in the shop. Having an empty shop helps the children to adapt to the area, so they feel at ease even when other employees or clients are present. One of his friends inquired if he could sponsor a haircut, which prompted him to start a GoFundMe named the "Gifted Program."

Some parents insist on giving him a tip, but he reminds them that it was part of the program and that the haircut was a gift from the community and himself. His wholesome approach has resulted in him becoming the most beloved barber in the community. He attracts customers from other cities in Ohio, and he explained that the funds he raises will support travel expenses so he can offer free haircuts to disabled children nationwide.
