The husband doesn't only let his wife sleep in on Saturday mornings but also takes his daughters out with him.
When people have caring and understanding partners, their lives become easier and more fulfilling. This husband sure loves his wife and knows how to care for her properly. Every week on Saturdays, Chris Giglio lets his wife, Bre Giglio, sleep in and meanwhile takes his daughters out for a quick run to a grocery store to buy some flowers for his partner. He documented one such Saturday morning on his TikTok channel @chrisandbre.g. He starts the video by saying, "It's Saturday morning. The girls and I are doing our favorite thing: We're letting Mom sleep. It's a beautiful day to go out and get her some flowers on our way to Target. So let's get going."
First, Chris can be seen making his kids sit in the car and while driving, playing Shania Twain's song, "Man! I Feel Like a Woman." He jokes, "First stop, we are at Trader Joe's we are going to pick up some flowers as any good homemaker would." He continues, "I just want to make sure that I can give the flowers to Bre once we get home, so we are going to assemble it quickly in the back." He then quickly assembles a beautiful bouquet in the back of his car while holding his younger daughter and telling her, "I'm here."
That's not it. As he wants the bouquet for his wife to look perfect, he goes to Target to buy a ribbon he can tie around the bouquet. At the store, Chris gets the ribbon and some extra household items, which would have surely reduced his wife's burden. He explains, "So today, we are running around and grabbing a few random things." After picking up a few things, he can be seen sitting in the car and cutting a white ribbon to tie the bouquet. Before heading home, he also grabs a cup of coffee for Bre.
Once they reach home, the dad hands over the coffee to his daughter and she goes into the bedroom and keeps it on Bre's bedside table. Meanwhile, Bre, who is sitting on the bed, lovingly asks her, "Did you make some pretty flowers for Mama? Do you want to read a book together?" After which, Chris gives the flowers to his wife and says, "Here you go, Mama" and she smiles and responds, "Thank you, baby."
The video is captioned, "Took the girls to Trader Joe's this morning to get @Bre Giglio plenty of sleep and flowers." People on the platform loved the husband's gesture. @michelle7401 commented, "Doing this takes so much stress off of your wife and in return makes her a better mom and wife. Bravo!" @malloryrn wrote, "I know you don't intend to, but you make me bawl every single time I watch your videos. Thank you for being such a wonderful man. I pray that my kids and I find someone like you one day."
@empoweredandintimate said, "Baby wearing and everything. This man is a true dad and partner." @ooboos expressed, "This made me cry. I wish every daughter had a dad like this, including mine." @houston_marissa shared, "This was my exact Saturday morning with my dad and two sisters. I'm almost 40 and they're still some of my best childhood memories." Many on the internet call this tradition "Dadurday" and it is a very thoughtful thing that Chris does for his wife.
