The internet comes up with hilarious responses that the band member should have said to the man who mocked her.

In a world where social media dominates the lives of many, people are quite accustomed to seeing pretentious individuals. Many put so much effort into being on par with the society's fads. That's why when a person is seen as being absolutely unfiltered, one can't help but question their originality. However, when a stranger questioned the selfhood of a band member because they were wearing their band's T-shirt, the internet wasn't having it. A member of the band "Bad Habits," who goes by @whatisrocknroll on TikTok, shared their encounter with a man at a restaurant who thought he made a snide remark but, in reality, he was wrong.

The six-second video shows the musician sitting in a restaurant with an expression of complete disbelief. In a typical rock band member look, they wore a black sleeveless t-shirt that had their band's name, "Bad Habits," written in big, bold letters on it and their arms were covered in tattoos. "Guys, I was casually waiting for my food wearing my band's merch and a guy came up and asked to name three songs," the text overlay read. "I don't know how I should feel about this," they added in the caption. The man apparently thought that they were just trying to look cool wearing a band's t-shirt and the musician couldn't help but laugh it off.

Over a million views swarmed in for this video and turned out that this was quite a common issue among musicians in a band. So, many users were keen on suggesting snarky responses to the man who tried to ridicule the musician. "I heard an amazing comeback for this, 'Name 5 women who feel safe around you,'" said @shapeshiftersystem. "'Oh! Please, you wouldn't recognize the band if they were sitting in front of you,' followed by the most intense stare ever," suggested @akroatje. "You should name a song you are still working on, and when you release he just, maybe, has a really bad flashback," added @waifuccu. "I would have said, 'Which ones? The ones I wrote or just any song?'" quipped @candimk2.

On the other hand, there have been times when band members who don't consider themselves popular were recognized wholeheartedly by fans. In a heartwarming video shared on YouTube by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, the Swiss/German duo "BOY" had a wholesome experience with the fans when they first performed in the USA. Turned out, they weren't as unknown as they perceived themselves to be.

While performing on-stage in New York, a few verses into the song, the audience seemed to have caught on to the song. The singer, Valeska Steiner, noticed that the crowd started singing along with her and was so elated that she exclaimed, "Wow!" Bassist Sonja Glass also seemed surprised by people knowing their song quite well. This incredible reception by the audience made the duo feel over the moon throughout their performance as they initially thought they weren't famous outside Europe.
