When your sister marries your best friend, there are only two ways to react: cry like Ross Geller or roast like Chandler Bing — and this man chose both.
Most siblings are caught in a chaotic love-hate relationship, constantly balancing between being best friends and rivals. From fighting over the TV remote to becoming each other's lawyers when things get sketchy, siblings' bond is like no other. As they grow older, the fear of losing one another persistently beats against their heart, like a nervous looming dread of the inevitable. However, it is their love for each other that keeps their bond intact, no matter how far apart they may be. Having said that, nothing prepares them, especially the brothers, for seeing their sisters walk down the aisle towards a new beginning. While they are delighted to see their sisters grow in life, most fear the distance and change it brings. Sara Beth's brother David, too, was experiencing similar emotions, but it was his witty wedding toast that had everyone, including the bride and groom, in stitches.
Interestingly, Sara married Jordan, her brother's best friend, for more than 20 years — something David mentioned multiple times in the hilarious wedding toast. "I thought you were my best friend. This is my sister! My best friend and my sister! I cannot believe this!" David said in an over-the-top dramatic tone, imitating Ross Geller from the popular sitcom "Friends." The moment it happened, everyone at the venue broke into loud laughter, completely awestruck by David's playful banter. "Sara Beth, I should have known one day, for all the big brother things I do to annoy you, that one day, I would get it back," he said, hinting at the ultimate betrayal — their marriage.
Further, David went into full big brother mode, as he warned the groom against messing things up. "I mean, seriously, Jordan, look how beautiful Sara Beth looks tonight. Not only is she beautiful, but she is also my sister. And I'm only going to say this once — don't mess this up. I can't believe it! My best friend and my sister, and you all did and didn't tell me?" he added, once again channeling his inner Ross Geller. The video was shared on Bowen Films' (@bowenfilms) TikTok, which captured the beautiful moment from Sarah's wedding in Baltimore.
Meanwhile, @tinawilliams08 shared, "My daughter's best friend was so comfortable at our house that he never knocked, he just walked in and said what's for dinner lol. Well, one day it was like he saw my other daughter and asked her out. After a few months, they unexpectedly found out that they were having a baby. My daughter was very happy for them. This happened almost 13 years ago. We bought a house in the country, but unfortunately, some bad things have happened. My younger daughter passed from leukemia, and my other daughter and her best friend had another baby who passed from a heart defect. They never plan on getting married."
Similarly, @sairamadrid3 revealed, "I married my brother's best friend, and my brother married my best friend. Yes, for many years we would do everything together until they moved out of state. We are the godparents for the oldest of their kids." @tawhida_dvn commented, "Bro only approved this wedding so he can recreate this iconic Friends scene at the wedding."
