The comment section lit up with admiration for the dancing grandma. "85 years old but you just know for a brief period of time, she felt younger, was transported to a different era, a different time, a different world, and full of different feelings. She without a doubt felt very nostalgic and to me, nostalgia is the closest thing we'll ever have to a time machine," wrote u/BackToTheFutureDoc. "How wonderful this is to watch? I mean, out of all the shi**y things that are happening in the world right now. Seeing her genuine smile once she heard the music play," expressed u/Hefty_File_2287. "I've heard this song my entire life (my mom was raised on true country music as her dad and brother were bluegrass musicians) and I've never once thought of it as a dance tune... but that's just changed! Now, I will think of your Nana each time I hear it and might have to dance along too," added u/Foxy-Knoxy

There’s something undeniably heartwarming about seeing grandmas let loose and embrace life with joy. In another such heartwarming story, Anna Berdnikova, known as Granny Anya, became an internet sensation for dancing and singing while cleaning up her neighborhood. The 82-year-old's bubbly personality captured the hearts of netizens as videos shared online showed her singing and dancing to old Indian movie songs while tidying up. "When I walk by, I collect the garbage," she says in a video uploaded online by Good Morning America. "A street cleaner does it as well in [the summer]. In the winter, I help by shoveling the snow out." She is a treat to watch and her neighbors agree. "I do not know when she sleeps. I woke up in the morning to take out the garbage and she was already there, cutting the grass. She cleans up after everyone. Whether you ask her or not, she helps everybody," a member of the community shared. To show their appreciation for her contributions, the neighbors either pay Granny Anya a small fee or express their gratitude, letting her know how much her hard work means to them.
