Man proposes to girlfriend by editing himself in clips from 'Everything Everywhere All at Once'

Similarly, a man's unique way of proposing clips from the award-winning film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" has gone viral on TikTok. Daniel Le recently proposed to his girlfriend Annie in an independent theater with a creative and elaborate proposal, as seen in two viral videos posted by the young filmmaker. The proposal involved Daniel creating a homemade version of the movie "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and inserting himself into some of the most iconic scenes. For instance, he dressed up as IRS inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdre, portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis, which caused the theater to burst into laughter.

The video then shows Daniel sitting in the driver's seat of his car, where he shares a heartfelt message with his future fiancée. He said, "Oh man, I have no idea how to start this. Um, hello! I'm sorry for interrupting the movie for everyone. I just wanted to surprise Annie, hopefully you're watching this." Unbeknownst to the future bride, Daniel professed his love for Annie in front of a crowded theater filled with their friends and family. He said in the clip, "I just want to show you how much you mean to me and how much you mean to your friends and family, and I just want to show you how much I love you. The way you love is so honest and so pure, it's infectious and it's shown me how to genuinely love someone as well."

Annie's friends shared heartwarming testimonials in a video, followed by a male family member, who congratulated her on becoming "a whole-ass fiancée." He admitted, "I wasn't supposed to say that, but I know you're going to say yes because you love him!" The video concluded with Daniel sharing his favorite videos of Annie dancing and expressing his love for her in a voiceover. "It's weird because whatever you do, I seem to fall in love with you over and over again," he said. "It's kind of annoying!"

As the lights dimmed, a revised movie poster displaying the title "Annie-thing Annie-where All At Once" faded onto the screen. When the theater flooded with light, Annie realized their friends and family were all around her. Real-life "Top Gun" pilots are married and expecting a child who has already flown at supersonic speed! In a brief clip of the proposal, Daniel stated that he looks forward to doing his laundry and taxes with Annie, referencing a famous line from the Academy Award-winning film. Following this, he got down on one knee and asked for Annie's hand in marriage, to which she said yes. The couple then took photos with their loved ones, which Daniel later shared on TikTok. According to him, he had requested assistance from numerous local theaters until he found the perfect one. The theater's employees even joined in on the surprise, he added. He provided a glimpse behind the scenes, showing footage of the altered portions of the film.
