Fabrizio talks about how not moving out of hometown doesn't let a person discover their survival abilties.
Many people have to move from their hometowns for a livelihood and it has become more common than ever. A man on Instagram shared an interesting perspective about it and anyone who has moved from their hometown can associate with it. However, it is also important to understand that it is a privilege to move, and not everyone can do it. Fabrizio Villario Moroni starts the video by saying, “Imagine how many parts of yourself you have missed out on if you hadn’t moved abroad."
He then says it might be a controversial opinion but he really believes in it. “If you have never left your hometown if you have never left your country even. I don’t think you fully know yourself,” shares Moroni. He believes that if someone has not shifted to a new country or place, they don’t fully know their survival abilities because they have not gone out of their comfort zone. He adds, “And mind it, it’s not even about going abroad and living your best life. I literally moved abroad and was a bartender.”
Moroni then talks about how living outside builds some "kind of survival instinct." "And you start being a version of yourself that you didn't even know existed because you have to unlock parts of yourself that are entirely new," he points out. He concludes by saying, "I really really stand by it." The video garnered 1.1 million views and is captioned, "You’ll find out you’re so strong and resilient and you’ll get to know a whole new you what do you think? Do you agree or not?" People could completely resonate with it.
@reyannemustafa commented, "Also acknowledging though that this is for very privileged people." @mowna wrote, "I almost teared up because of your video, tears of gratitude I have towards the adversity I went through and the strength God gave me to power through them. I look back and laugh at the moments I spent sobbing in fear. I love you old-self, I’m much stronger now because of you, and I will use the lessons to take care of you. I got this."
@laurel_is_here shared, "This is the realest statement ever. I was in my full capacity to be the better version of myself when I was moving abroad. Truly an experience that changed everything. Sometimes I even said pre-moving abroad me with after moving abroad me." @filipesemfronteira said, "I started my life in Portugal with 220€ and I have suffered a lot dealing with the different culture, without family and friends. I am glad I did it cause I could see how weak I was and how strong I am today. Wow, I new person. If you can, plan, save money, and do it." @lucasdocarmo7 shared, "You’re so right. spending like, over a month in another continent really can change how you view the world and yourself." @gymnast_biker expressed, "I think it's impossible to fully know yourself, there are always experiences that you will never live, yes it means we miss out on things, but it is impossible for someone to have lived everything."
