TikTok influencer Jordan (who goes by @jordan_the_stallion8), known for enlightening his audience on various topics such as purchasing fresh bread or the proper way to enjoy Ritz crackers with cheese, has returned with yet another life hack that has been right in front of us all along. In a viral video shared on June 22, Jordan reveals a surprising revelation about soda cans that has garnered over 8 million views. He begins the video by saying, "So if you guys want to take a look at the bottom of a soda can, you see it has this extra little circular ridge here," which he suggests is a previously overlooked design feature of the object. Continuing to share the soda cans' multi-purpose functionality, Jordan emphasizes that their design enables easy stacking for storage purposes.

Then, he proceeds to demonstrate a clever technique using the ridge on the top can to effectively open the one beneath it. With a fluid motion, Jordan brings the top can towards himself, instantly opening the pop top. His seamless action demonstrates the effortless technique of using the can's design to access the contents inside. "If you just got your nails done, you don't want to mess them up, just take a soda, put it on top and open it with another soda," he says.

Another user, @dougabug, tried out the simple hack and shared, "I have eight open sodas. WHAT DO I DO NOW?!" Many individuals have also damaged their nails trying to open cans. @panamalola said, "Me over here with PTSD from a can that ripped my acrylic with my own nail." Users on the platform were also eager to try out the hack, with @abimak22 saying, "Not me immediately running to the refrigerator to get soda cans." @manuelagudelo, an air hostess who watched the video, commented, "Yeah, I'm trying this later at work. I'm a flight attendant and hurt my fingers or chip my nails constantly cause of this.
