Elder sisters are popularly known for being independent, influential and hardworking. Daniel Alexander's sister is no different as she managed to score a job offer in the most impossible situation. The content creator first thought that his elder sister was delusional when it came to applying for any job possible. However, he was left stunned by the way she worked out her job offer after a company rescinded it. That's not it. She was also able to convince the hiring manager to increase her salary more than before. Alexander—who goes by @dalecsander99 on Instagram—shared in a video explaining how it all happened.

Alexander begins the video by saying, "Is anyone else's sister just a force of f***ing nature? Because I thought for the longest time that she was delusional, turns out she's just correct." He then goes on to share that his sister was unemployed for seven months and he had this conversation with her. "'You applied to be CFO of Tesla?' 'Yeah, it was on LinkedIn.'" He continues, "There isn't a job requirement on the planet that would stop her from applying for a job that she wants. It could say 'been to the moon' and there would be two applicants: my sister and Buzz Aldrin."

Fast forward, seven months later, the sister did get a job. His sister then shares with her brother, "Daniel I got this position as chief of staff with a startup company." He responded, "That's incredible but you have a Psych degree." She reasoned that the said job position pays her $100,000 a year. Alexander communicated that the company rescinded the offer 24 hours later because they wanted someone who lived on the East Coast. He felt bad for his sister and told her he was sorry that the offer was rescinded. She turned her regret into action and conveyed that she would try and "fix it."

She organized another meeting with the hiring manager and they offered her the job again with a 5k higher salary. "I am in awe I don't know what moon sign that is but I'm sure it's the one that sociopaths have because what the f**k," he expresses. "I had seven months of not being the screw-up child before she decided to take this company's decision and treat it like the Maginot Line," conveying that instead of just accepting the situation as it was, his sister decided to fight it as France did with Germany in the 1930s by constructing the Maginot Line. Alexander concludes with a lesson he learned from the incident, "Take this as a sign to demand what you want, not ask, but respectfully and politely demand it because you're worth it."

The video garnered 5.6 million views and is captioned, "Google Maginot Line because that was hilarious." People were equally in awe of his sister. @tfiggi commented, "No, she's putting that psychology degree to work." @catelemieux expressed, "She said it’s not about what you can do for capitalism, but what capitalism can do for you." @jhnsmnff said, "Your sister is the only person I will be taking career advice from moving forward." @gypsiemariposa said, "She needs to physically appear on your videos. She’s the type of delulu I aspire to be. Because she’s not crazy she just holds a confidence within herself and knows what she’s worth. Call her forth from the depths."
