Man comes up with a sleeping hack so his pregnant wife can sleep comfortably: 'Amazing husband'

During pregnancy, it can be quite challenging for a woman to find a comfortable position. So, when a pregnant woman expressed her desire to lie face down, her husband ingeniously devised a solution that was both innovative and practical. TikTok user @luxuryrenovation posted a video on how he made a hole in one of the spare mattresses they had so that his wife could comfortably sleep in it. People on social media were impressed by what the man did and appreciated him for his efforts.

The video begins with the text overlay, "When your pregnant wife says she wants to lay face down" and then shows a mattress with a hole covered with a bed sheet. The video went viral with about 1.5 million views. He explains in the comment how he made it. He wrote, "It's a memory foam mattress, I just cut a hole out of it, lol it works wonders."

In a follow-up video, the husband, Tony Lopez, thanks people for their support, "We did get a professional patent on this idea right here. So we are ok with that. Right now, we are thinking of moving through it and mass producing them."

Lopez then shares how he came up with the idea. "One night, I came up with the idea while laying in bed with her. She had told me that she wanted to sleep face down and it hurt her. So I saw a problem there and came up with a solution. We had an extra mattress that was made out of foam and I went up and cut a hole in it the following day and it worked. Everyone loved it and we are glad that you guys love it. I want to bring it to your homes. I'm going to kickstart it pretty soon."

He buys kids' stationery, a bottle of wine, chocolates, flowers and many other things his family might need during the week. After shopping, he washes the dishes and cleans the kitchen counter, and then arranges the shoe rack.

Smith goes ahead to clean the dining table, put flowers into the vase, do laundry, and fold all the clothes. Once he is done with all his chores, he finally packs his bag for his trip. Later in the video, he puts all the groceries and other things in the proper places. His family is surprised to see everything he has done for them before leaving. The video ends with him leaving with his bag and his kids saying goodbye.
