The woman was both excited and nervous to show her work and hoped that her coworker would like what she made for him.
Many fans go the extra mile to make something beautiful for their favorite artist or celebrity. In some instances, they might even get a chance to share their work with other fans. A woman had the opportunity to present her painting of emerging rapper Ken Carson to one of her coworkers. The coworker was thrilled to receive the painting and shared his reaction video on TikTok, where he goes by @jjmmny.
"Hey, this is my coworker, Mandy, she made me..." the man says in the video after asking Mandy permission to record the reveal. "She made me a little painting. This is my first reaction, let's see it," the man announced as Mandy nervously stood there, ready to show her work. They’re going to love you, Mandy," he reassured her as she unveiled the painting. "Fire!" everyone in the room shouted as the artwork was revealed. "What the freak? What? I think you got the cross right. No way. How did you do this?" the person exclaimed. Mandy, looking at her coworker's reaction, asked, "I’m assuming you like it?" "I need it. I’ve got to show it to Ken Carson," the man said, admiring the stunning embellished black painting.
"Let me see, bro. You are tough," the coworker expressed. "Oh my gosh, there's no way." Mandy then began explaining certain details about her work, "I didn't put the crystals on the bottom part because I didn't know if you wanted to prop it up or not and I didn't want it to be uneven." The man admitted he didn’t care about that and was genuinely impressed by the effort Mandy had put into the painting. "This is a hundred out of ten," he said. "That's crazy. I appreciate you, man. You did your thing."
Many people in the comments section of the video wondered how Mandy got the chain on the painting to sparkle. In response, Mandy shared a video explaining her process on TikTok, where she goes by @mandy.rockyroadluvr. She explained that she achieved the look on the painting by gluing store-bought gems onto the chain. "All glued on individually," the woman revealed, adding that it took her all night to get the desired result. "My gem-grabbing pencil sucked," she revealed. The caption read, "My neck and shoulders hurt from being hunched over my table for hours. Worth the reaction, though." The video received more than 3.4 million views and over 373.5k likes. People took to the comments section of the video to appreciate her art.

You are so talented." The woman went on to share her final work on Instagram, where she goes by @mandy.candyxoxo. The caption read, "Recently, I made a painting for my coworker @jjmmny and he wanted me to do this @kencarson cover! I put my soul into this painting, and I really did not expect to find so much support. Everyone’s comments are lovely, but nothing beats Jimmy’s reaction… anyway here are more pictures." Ken Carson himself showed his appreciation through the comments.
