Man breaks into tears after his best friend of 20 years gifts him the dream guitar

Friendship is one of the most beautiful bonds that exist in this world. Our friends are with us through all thicks and thins in life. Their support and love should be acknowledged and appreciated in the best way possible. This man did it right by surprising his best friend of 20 years in the most magical way. Nash—who goes by @nash___ on TikTok—surprised his friend with his dream guitar that he has been talking about for years. He captured his reaction on video and posted it with the captio, "He's been talking about a Gibson J45 our whole life. Softy had us all tearing up."

As the video began, his friend Stephen Cox had already started opening his gifts. He took a hat out of a bag. "Giving him a Gibson hat as a decoy gift," Nash wrote in the text overlay. The friend was pretty happy to see the hat as well. "So nice. Gibson. Nice," he praised as he unpacked the hat. "Yeah, 'cause I thought you had that green Gesture," the friend explained his gift. "Do you still have that?" he asked keeping his act up. "That was a Gretch," Cox answered. "And I know, but I like it. My guitar is against it."

As Cox unpacked the gift, the man's dog Willa also made an appearance in the video. His friends in the background were super excited to see her and continued to ask questions about Willa casually, probably unaware of the upcoming surprise or totally in on it from before. "I like the color," the best friend said as he finally took out a blue and white hat.

As he tried on the hat, the man slowly came up and kept a guitar beside him. It took him a few seconds to look up and pure shock was written all over his face as he asked, "What?" Someone in the background also exclaimed, "What is that?" Cox carefully picked up the guitar and put it above a set of stairs to open it. As soon as he opened the guitar case, his eyes were filled with tears. "I love you, buddy," the man shared. A woman came up behind Cox to record a video and said, "He's crying." People in the background cooed, "So sweet" as the man came up to hug his best friend.

The man broke down completely at one point and gave his friend another hug as he looked at his dream guitar. "I love that. Thank you so much," the best friend said as he wiped his tears. The best friend also posted a cover of the song, "I Never Lie" by "Zach Top" on his account @Stephencox using the guitar his friend gifted. When his friend commented with fire emojis on the video, the friend replied, "Thanks man and for the guitar too I guess."
