Man breaks down in tears after 4-year-old daughter gets him a bunch of flowers

It is believed that most men don't receive their first bouquet until their funeral. It's a statement that sadly reflects how we often forget to show men the same small acts of affection that women receive more frequently. When Yaya Rozay—who goes by @yaswurld on TikTok—told her daughter of this belief, she did not like it. The 4-year-old insisted that she wanted to get a bunch of flowers for her dad.

Rozay captured the moment in a video that begins with a touching scene, a four-year-old girl holding a beautifully wrapped bunch of roses. Her mother writes in an on-screen text "Many men don't receive their first bouquet until their funeral." When the little girl insisted on buying flowers for her daddy, her mother couldn't resist indulging in such a sweet request. After all, how often do we think about giving flowers to the men in our lives? When asked why she wanted to buy her dad flowers, the little girl’s response was simple yet filled with love, "Because he is such a good daddy and he deserves it."

The video then shows the girl eagerly ringing the doorbell, waiting for someone to open it for her. Inside, her dad is busy feeding a bottle to another small child—an image of fatherly care that makes what comes next even more emotional. As the door opens, his daughter proudly runs inside to hand him the roses. "You deserve it," she tells him. Mom's post too read nothing short of emotional, "Happy tears! My baby girl has such a big heart! Her Dad works so hard to provide for our family. If flowers are how she wants to show him love and appreciation, then flowers he will get!"

Surprised, the father takes the flowers and with tears welling up in his eyes, says, “I’m gonna cry… wa—.” The unexpected gesture of receiving flowers seems to have touched him deeply. The little girl, unaware of the significance of her action, continues to beam with pride. "It’s for you!" she declares, her joy contagious.

As he holds the roses, he thanks her with a voice that’s shaky with emotion. "Thank you, baby. Thank you! This smells so good," perfectly capturing how something as small as getting flowers for your dad can make their day or week. The girl continues her innocent conversation, informing her dad that she got the flowers from the store and says, "And I got this bracelet," showing off a smiley face bracelet she’s proudly wearing. "I got this bracelet for me."

As if that wasn’t enough, the little girl adds, "I get something for you too," as she hands him a card with a smiley face on it! Throughout the video, you can see the dad feeding the baby and taking all this love and joy in so calmly yet tearing up about it. The video ends with a note saying, "This is your sign to show your dads they are appreciated too!"
