'The only reason men get so many pockets is to store their audacity,' a viewer said

A bystander was shocked to see the extent of a man's entitlement at the airport. In a June 22, 2026, Instagram video, Michael Brown (@yourbestiemisha), an author and viral content creator, recalled how a new mom shut an entitled man up when he insisted she leave the place because her wailing baby was disturbing his work call. Brown's video has received over 1 million views on his page.
Brown said it was the “dumbest thing” he has ever witnessed at an airport. As he recalled, a gentleman-looking individual, dressed in a white business suit, walked into the waiting area and told the mom, “I'm on a work call. You need to take a walk.” Despite being an independent man who could have walked around and taken his call elsewhere, he, in return, demanded the mom, who was already struggling with her baby, pack up her bags and stroller to accommodate space for his phone call.

“The audacity just never f*****g ends,” Brown commented. The stranger encounter, however, ended with some much-needed pushback. Instead of either moving away from the spot or responding angrily to the man, the mom simply “looked at him dead in his eyes and laughed right in his face,” as Brown described.
The man’s behaviour at the airport is just one demonstration of what psychologists identify as “narcissism.” In fact, according to The Recovery Village, nearly 1% to 6.2% of the general population suffers from this psychological disorder, with 7.7% of men as compared to 4.8% of women. "This gender difference appears consistent across different populations and age groups," the report added.
Similarly, in a study published in Current Issues in Personality Psychology, researchers analyzed 372 individuals and found that these people often display entitled behaviours, considering others merely as tools or objects meant to satisfy their own goals while disregarding others’ interests. This sense of entitlement and narcissism manifests as unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment and automatic fulfilment of demands.

Meanwhile, viewers appreciated the way the mom stood up for herself and urged others to do the same when encountering egocentric men. For instance, @raven.iah commented, “I’m so tired of men.” Similarly, @nic.nac.78 remarked, “The only reason men get so many pockets is to store their audacity.” @rainier61 said, “On behalf of all real men, I appreciate her laughing in this idiot's face!”
