Mama dog showing gratitude to woman for feeding her puppies proves a mother's love is universal

We look out for people we love and animals are no different than us. In a viral video posted by Yog (@Yoda4ever) on X (previously Twitter), we can see how a dog expressed her gratitude to a woman who fed her babies. In the clip, the woman is feeding puppies under a roof and as she gives them food, the mother of the puppies comes close to her and shows her affection for taking care of her babies. This heartwarming scene proves that a mother's love is universal. It fills our life with love and joy. 

In scientific terms, just like humans, a dog gives her babies her undivided attention after they are born. As per Dr. Ann Hohenhaus, Staff Doctor at NYC's Animal Medical Center, "what you'll see on day one is a mother who doesn't want to be away from her pups for more than a second," stated a report by American Kennel Club (AKC). When pups are born, they are unable to see, hear, or walk. They are entirely dependent on their mother and these first few weeks are extremely crucial for both the mother and the newborns. The role of the mother changes as the puppies grow up, from supporting and directing them to eventually making them more self-reliant.

The video lit up the day of many Twitter users and they did not shy away from expressing their thoughts out loud. "I wish people would be more like this! Dogs are the best!" commented @jlee29chi. 

In a similar story highlighting the greatness of dogs, a jolly brown boxer named Dexter is seen assisting a blonde mixed-breed dog named Ginger, who is blind. Both the paw pals can be seen coming downstairs and the boxer ensures that the friend is towards the corner on the inside while he is on the outside in the video. He carefully walked downstairs at Ginger's pace, ensuring the blonde beauty was comfortable. The video showed Ginger carefully feeling and sniffing each step before coming down while the other furry guy took advantage of his size and protected the other. He tried to surround her, giving them enough space to come down but also ensuring there was no room to trip. 

It was almost as if the boxer was guiding the small one, just like parents or siblings would. It's safe to say that the duo share a unique bond. The video received over 3 million views on X. It was all virtual cuddles and kisses for the two. Sure enough, animals are more thoughtful and kind compared to human beings. The saying that "dogs are loyal" doesn't just spring out of the blue. It is supported by the evidence of many dog owners. Dexter showed his concern and love for Ginger with his actions. Animals are those precious creations that touch our hearts. Through such a simple action, Dexter left us a loaded message on kindness.
