Macaulay Culkin tears up while thanking his fiancée in Hollywood Walk of Fame speech

The little Kevin from the 1990 Christmas classic film "Home Alone" is all grown up now. However, his loyal fanbase is still cheering for him, especially when he received one of the most prestigious honors of his lifetime. 43-year-old actor Macaulay Culkin was recently honored at the Hollywood Walk of Fame with his star in December 2023, per Daily Mail. When it was finally his turn to speak, Culkin addressed all his loved ones at the venue, including his fiancée and mother of two kids, Brenda Song.

The crowd at the ceremony also included his two sons, his on-screen mother from "Home Alone", Catherine O'Hara, Paris Jackson and Natasha Lyone. Culkin's acceptance speech was emotional for both himself and the audience as Song was captured wiping her tears as he thanked her for being the best part of his life. "You are absolutely everything. You're my champion. You're the only person happier for me today than I am," Culkin spoke about Song who is famed for starring as London Tipton in Disney's "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody."

"You're not only the best woman I've ever known, you're the best person I've ever known. You've given me just all my purpose. You've given me family. And after the birth of our two boys, you've become one of my three favorite people and in the spirit of the holiday season, I just want to say Merry Christmas you filthy animals," Culkin added, quipping his iconic line from "Home Alone." O'Hara also went up the podium after Culkin's acceptance speech to say a few words for him.

"Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation," O'Hara said after her heartwarming reunion with her on-screen son. "The reason families all over the world can't let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin. I know you worked hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do."

O'Hara addressed how Culkin always brought his "sweet and twisted yet relatable sense of humor to every project he did and it was a sign of intelligence in a child and a key to survival at any age." She concluded, "Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion. I'm so proud of you."

Song's presence in Culkin's life has affected him positively and it has been obvious through his speech and Song's tearful reaction to it. According to PEOPLE, the pair met for the first time in 2017 in Thailand on the set of Seth Green's movie "Changeland". The pair then welcomed their first son in 2021 and got engaged less than a year later. During his Walk of Fame ceremony, Culkin was photographed kissing the head of his younger son and his older son was also seen at the event, sitting on a friend's lap in the row behind his parents and sporting a mohawk. Ultimately, the little Kevin from "Home Alone" ended up having his forever family by his side at this important event.
