Morgan Hortman and Phil Deamezola had their challenges, but their love emerged victorious. The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne truly made the couple's day with their heart-melting gesture.
A wedding is a sacred and fulfilling rite of passage for couples to unite their love and become one. For the big day, there are many preparations to be made and many expenses that come along with them. Every couple who's gone through the process of planning a wedding would know the hassle that it is but ultimately, the memories make it all worth it. However, for Morgan Hartman and Phil Deamezola, their preparations took a rather luxurious route when kindness came their way. The couple's big day was taken care of in a flamboyant way to celebrate their strength and resilience to reach their special milestone, reports PEOPLE.
Hartman and Deamezola have had their share of struggles. Hartman is a cancer survivor, while Deamezola suffered from an abdominal aortic aneurysm. The struggle was surely challenging, but the duo made it through to be together on their wedding day.

The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, chose the couple to be worthy recipients of their "Gift of a Lifetime" program and that changed the couple's lives. The resort collaborated with the Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute to give the pair a special surprise and the couple was "blown away." Hartman remarked, "We both have strong spiritual beliefs and it seemed like confirmation that we are a good couple and that we are supposed to be together."

As part of their magnificent gift, everything for their wedding was managed by the resort and other generous owners and vendors. Everything from the wedding favors, the flowers, the wedding planning and even the dress, was all covered for and offered to the couple. The groom recalled, "I think we underestimated the magnitude of donations—of time, services and the ingredients for a fairy-tale wedding. The goodwill, love, kindness and generosity that was showered on us was overwhelming at times." The couple have proved themselves to be worthy of each other and the grand gesture they received from the luxury hotel. Their struggling journey began back in December 2020 when Hartman found out about her cancer.

Deamezola stuck with her through it all and offered every kind of support she needed. Right from back rubs, prescription bills, tremendous devotion and more, they paved their way out of the trials with love and commitment. The couple also revealed that they decided to be together forever on Christmas in 2020. However, they decided to wait till Hartman was fit to have the wedding of her dreams. She said, "Phil proposed with a beautiful ring and then we thought, 'Maybe we shouldn't get married because I'm sick. Maybe we should wait until we are healthy and the dust settles.'" However, while Hartman celebrated two years cancer-free, Deamezola required an emergency surgery.

The couple stood by each other even then and Hartman applied for the program and eventually got to enjoy the wholesome gesture from Ritz-Carlton. "The day was magical. Everything came together. From start to finish it was seamless, joyful, loving, full of hope and good cheer," Hartman acknowledged. The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne has captured their journey in a series of videos under the "Lifetime Program" on their Instagram page. Hartman said in a post on her Instagram, "I never win anything. And then we found out we won on June 22 and had to keep it a secret! Thank you, Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne & Miami Cancer Institute!"
