Many siblings bond over things their parents tell them not to do. They could be fighting all day but would turn into true partners in crime if they wanted the same thing. A dad shared an adorable video of his two children getting early morning popsicles from the freezer together and it was both funny and heartwarming. Rhett Scheurn—who goes by @rhettscheurn on Instagram—took to the platform to share his kids' hilarious ice cream shenanigans that he unexpectedly caught on camera.

As the video began, a boy was walking towards the fridge with his sister following behind. The text overlay read. "Woke up to this, this morning." The boy sneakily walked up to the freezer to get a popsicle with no clue that his dad was watching him. "They decided to grab an early morning popsicle," Scheurn wrote. The brother took out the whole popsicle tray, careful not to make any noise. He climbed up on a stool to get scissors to the kitchen counter. He picked out one blue popsicle for his sister and a black one for himself. The brother also cutely helped his sister open her popsicle.

Soon enough the kids hurried "back to their lair" so they wouldn't get caught by their parents. The brother continued to help his little sister and the dad pointed out, "It was really cute how Asher was helping his little sister." As they started eating, the little girl adorably asked her brother, "Do you like the popsicle?" The brother affirmed, "Yeah, it's delicious." The siblings were enjoying their little treat completely unaware of what was in store for them. The dad stood at their door and asked, "What did you guys get?" The kids held up their popsicles to answer their dad. "What are those?" Scheurn questioned. "Popsicles," Asher said while his little sister sweetly answered, "Oppsicles."

For more context, the dad captioned the video, "So, last night I wasn’t tired so I watched TV on the couch to not wake the newborn. Next thing I know, I wake up to this… you FOR REAL can’t make this up haha. I gotta give it to the boy, he went mission impossible, lol." The video received over 1.1 million views and people took to the comments section to appreciate the beautiful bond between the siblings.

@voodoooeyes420 shared, "This is how my kids are with each other. My middle child just turned two and my youngest child is almost 9 months. He doesn’t quite understand why his little brother doesn’t get all the cool fun things that he gets so I’ll constantly see him bringing him little snacks or trying to let him have sips from his juice cup. It’s so wholesome to watch." @kaytaymarie93 remarked, "They were completely independent, safe with scissors, and cooperating. That sounds like a parenting win in my book." @chosen_one2024 wrote, "That little boy was on a mission that early in the morning and knew exactly what he planned to do."

@ariel_hendrixx commented, "See I wouldn’t be mad at this behavior because I love to see them getting along and him getting her one too." @ms__dawn expressed, "They’re not scared of you and are not hiding what they did. You are a good parent."
