Little girl plans the 'best date ever' with her dad and the internet can't get enough of it

When kids feel loved and cherished, they go out of their way to show their appreciation for their parents' love and care. It was seen recently in a viral video uploaded by Jo Reames - who goes by @vintagebound on TikTok - which has received over 13.8 million views. In the video, Reames asked her daughter Tea the reason for dressing up, to which she replied that she was ready to go on a date with her dad. What's even more touching is that her dad had no idea and it was a surprise. Reames was cleaning their house and their baby girl was planning on picking her dress, doing her hair, and going on a date with her dad.

"Tea, what are you all dressed up for?" Reames, a professional photographer, asked her daughter. "Going on a date with Dad!" her daughter responded. "Does he know about this?" asked the mom. Tea revealed that she had a very specific plan, but her dad does not know yet. "I wanna call him and then say, 'Dad, I'm going on a morning date with you this morning,'" the little one giggled and said. She also wore some lipstick and eye shadow and she looked adorable. "Where are you going to have Dad take you?" Reames inquired in fun. Tea responded with excitement, "Starbucks and Target!"

"Sounds like a legit date...Dad's never taken me on a date to Starbucks and Target. So, you'll be lucky if he does it for you," Reames said to her daughter. "Yeah, and I'm gonna get whatever I want there," Tea exclaimed as her mom was heard bursting with laughter. "That's what I'm talking about. Sounds like the best date ever!" Reames added. Tea did not stop here and went on to say if she's "gonna be an adult right now," she can "get whatever she wants." Her idea of getting whatever she wanted at Target as an adult was adorable. "I love that for you," her mom said.

Tea's adventure did not end here, as people also asked for a follow-up video on how the dad responded and if the little girl got her shopping spree. Reames shared that video as well and here, the little girl is seen picking up all that she wanted from Target: Barbie dolls, Starbucks pink drinks, and clothing. Also, she bought something for her brother and mom. 

The video touched thousands of hearts. One user, @mimizlocklin, wrote, "So glad TikTok brought Mr back to see she got her date." @alicia_satterfield16 mentioned, "My dad and I did this. He took me to the mall, movie, and pizza. I remember it so well. He's been gone 20 years, it's still one of my favorite memories." @msweese shared, "I'm so glad the algorithm brought me to the date video. This is so cute."
