A little girl's poignant words of wisdom went viral on social media after her mother shared the 6-year-old's heartbreaking plea for her divorced parents to be friends. In a video posted by the youngster's mother, Cherish Sherry, on Facebook, little Tiana is seen sitting on the stairs of her home in Surrey, British Columbia, in pink pajamas after observing a fight between her parents. According to TODAY, the argument — which was over a fallen shoe rack in the garage — upset the child so much that she sat her mom down for a chat hoping to talk some sense into her.

"Mom, are you ready to be his friend?" Tiana asks her mom. When her mom replies "yes," the youngster continues: "Try not to be that high up [she gestures with her hands] to be friends, I want everything to be low. Okay? Just try your best. I don't want you and my dad to be replaced and meanies again. I want you and my dad to be placed and settled and be friends. I'm not trying to be mean. I just want everyone to be friends. And if I can be nice, I think all of us can be nice too."

"'I'm not trying to be mean - I'm trying to do my best in my heart. Nothing else than that," the adorable girl reiterates in the video. "I want my mom, my dad, everyone, to be friends. I want everyone to be smiling... Especially when I see someone, I want them to smile. Especially Nana... And as for my dad and you, mom, I think you can do it. I think you can settle your mean heights down a little to short heights... Okay? I'm not trying to be mean. I'm not trying to be a bully. I'm trying to be steady."

"If we live in a world where everyone's being mean, everyone's going to be a monster... I just want everything to be settled down, nothing else. I just want everything to be good as possible. Nothing else," Tiana concludes. Posting the video on Facebook, Sherry wrote: "I was stunned. She is teaching me." The video went viral across social media as countless netizens and Facebook pages reshared Tiana's inspiring conversation with her mother. "This little girl has a heart of gold and knows more about humanity and kindness than half of America knows today. She's absolutely as beautiful as the words that came out of her sweet mouth. Children are so pure at heart it's amazing," commented Facebook user Shafiqa Osman.

"What a very special and beautiful child! May you all be blessed with love and happiness! Thank you for your kindness and generosity in sharing Tiana's wisdom and love," wrote TJ Gregors. "This sweet little girl is talking from her heart. She has so much love to share & wants her parents to show love, not hate. Out of the mouths of babe’s do we hear the truth! The innocence of a child, let us learn," commented Alexis Beauchene. "Such wisdom from this little child. Wouldn't it make our country wonderful and full of joy if we were all nice to others even if we have differing opinions? Think about it." wrote Marilyn Daniel.
