A meaningful birthday present can melt the heart of anyone, be it an adult or a child. After all, it is the thought that counts. This act of kindness was shown in a clip shared by @philmyers08 on TikTok. In it, a little girl named Emily Hinton is seen receiving a special gift from her mom and being moved by it. It was a wig, made of her mother's hair. “Remember you asked me to make a wig out of mommy’s hair?” the mom asked while handing out the present to Emily and added: “That’s your wig. Out of mommy’s hair.” The beautiful gift made Emily emotional and she hugged her mother for the thoughtful gesture.

There's a story about why Emily wanted a wig: In 2015, when she was around one, Emily almost lost her life from severe burns from a gas can explosion in her backyard. Her grandmother was burning leaves and at this time, a gas can exploded and little Emily was next to her so she got burns all over her. “She turned around, and Emily was on fire,” the mother, Amy Hinton, told WSOC TV. "She picked her up and tried to smother the fire. It wasn't going out so she put her on the ground and started rolling her." Amy revealed that her daughter had third-degree burns all over her body and the little munchkin “clinically died twice” before she could be saved by the doctors.

Emily's gift is truly special and heartwarming and shows the love and care of her mother for her. In another such heartwarming story, mother @erinpercy60 had an amazing graduation gift idea for her kid that will melt your heart. Erin Percy shared a video on TikTok showing a basket filled with wrapped gifts. She made it personal and fun for her daughter by attaching an "Open When" note to all of the presents. As the video plays the musical score from the Pixar film "Up" in the background, Percy shows what's written on each of the gifts. The overlay text reads, "Graduation gift for my daughter." The first gift note reads, "Open me when it's cold outside" and the next note says, "Open me when you catch a cold." The following ones read, "Open me when you need a little me time" and "Open me when you need to break the ice with new people."
