Little boy sheds tears of joy and gratitude upon receiving his first bicycle from mother

Gratitude is a beautiful practice that we all should incorporate in our lives. However, due to busy schedules, stress and constant struggles to make ends meet, we often forget to value and be grateful for small things in life. In that case, we should learn the art of gratitude from young children who don't fail to be grateful for the simple joys life has to offer. Bruninha Karla—who goes by @brunakarlatrivelato on TikTok—shared a beautiful clip of her son’s reaction to his first bicycle. She posted the video on TikTok which was translated by @goodnews_movement.

In her video, Karla's son can be seen walking into a room. The minute he takes the first step into the room he sees a bicycle parked by the bed. He is filled with emotion after he gets the slightest glimpse of the bicycle in the dark room. He immediately turns to his mother in shock. With a slight smile emerging on his face, he continues to look towards her in disbelief.

He immediately removes his bag, goes and gives his mother the tightest hug ever and bursts into tears. As she is speaking to him, her son can only feel his mother’s love in the embrace and wraps his head around having a new bicycle. Karla captioned the video saying, “My son's biggest dream has been to have a bicycle of his own,” which explained her son’s tears of joy as he clung to his mother for a long time. Her caption continued to read, “As a mom, my heart hurt to see my son constantly asking his friends to borrow a bicycle.”

In complete awe, wiping his tears and composing himself, the little boy went towards the room to have a look at the newly gifted beauty. As he switched on the lights, tears once again flowed through his eyes looking at the bright red cycle. He touched the handles gently, admiring what was going to be the most precious part of his life. Several users commented on the video reposted by @goodnews_movement. @deannalawrence0418 said, “It is beautiful to see pure gratitude in the form of tears from children.” @nevernotgave said, “He runs to mommy first without even checking out the bike. It’s the thought that matters the most.”

In a follow-up video, Karla shared how her son was gleaming as he rode his brand-new bicycle. In her caption, she wrote, “‘You asked for it and here it is!’ Happiness is written all over his face! The first time, riding the new bike!” The video captured the boy cycling in rounds on an empty road carefully yet happily. The biggest smile was seen on his face throughout. However, this was not all, his mum had more in mind.

In another video, Karla shared her cycling experience with her son. The text overlay read, “Apostando corrida com a mamãe” which translates as, “Racing with mom.” In the video, her son is seen cycling ahead with his mum on another cycle behind him recording their friendly race. She captioned the video, “My favorite biker.” As the mother-son duo shared their race on the street, the little boy couldn't help but chuckle all the way through. It was indeed a dream come true for him in the most wholesome way!
