Most kids dream of doing whatever they want, especially when someone babysits them. However, surprisingly, not this kid. In a hilarious video posted by Derek Lipp—who goes by @dereklipp_ on Instagram—his son explains why he hates it so much when his grandma babysits him and it has left everyone rolling with laughter. The boy, Dawson, says that he needs more structure when he is with grandma. His elaboration on why he needs more structure makes many wonder if the video is scripted. The boy asks his dad, who is babysitting him as the video begins. As soon as the dad says grandma, the boy lets out a disappointed "Damnit" and adds, "I hate when she babysits me." The dad and the grandma are stunned at his reaction.

The dad tells the boy he should not talk like this because his grandma is standing next to him. The boy admits that he knows Grandma is standing there and wants to see her reaction. When Grandma asks Dawson why he does not like her as a babysitter, he gives a detailed reason. He says, "Because I have no structure!" He adds that Grandma lets him do whatever he wants, which might not be a bad thing. The boy explains that he stays up all night and feels extremely tired when he wakes up the next day.

He also adds that his stomach hurts because Grandma lets him eat whatever junk food he wants. He also has nightmares because she lets him watch whatever he wants as well. The dad, who has been standing right there all this time, adds that his mom used to do the same with him. The grandma asks if her grandson wants her to make him go to bed at 8 o'clock and if that would be enough structure for him. The grandson replies that he does not need that much structure either. The grandma is quite confused at this point.

The dad explains that maybe she should make him go to bed at 10, tell him not to eat junk food before bed and make him watch a normal movie. The grandma says, "I thought you liked hanging out with me. That's upsetting. Okay, whatever. You're gonna see a different grandma." The boy says, "No, you're my only grandma," and then hilariously adds, "In this family." Everyone, including the grandma, is laughing as the baby roams around freely, oblivious to whatever is happening.

My dad was the same way when I was a kid and spent weekends with him. Let me stay up all night, eat junk food, watch whatever. I thought it was amazing at the time, but then my poor mother would struggle to put me to bed because I had no sleep schedule. It genuinely f***** me up for a while and looking back, it was just plain neglect. He couldn't bother with parenting." @maddyswrld420 added, "Is no one impressed with this kid's communication skills?"
