Older siblings often are a great source of inspiration for younger siblings. They take care of their little ones and step up to cheer for them when  In a similar instance, a big brother took it upon himself to teach his little sister how to go down a ramp on a bike. Initially, the sister looks a little scared, but the brother encourages her to go for it. The mom, April Scully–who goes by @heroineofyourstory on Instagram shared the adorable video. She wrote, "He went down that ramp for the first time yesterday. She was too afraid to go down on her big bike, so he suggested she try with the balance bike."

As the video began, the siblings were on the ramp, the sister on her bike and the brother on foot with their helmets on. The brother said, "All you've got to do is keep your wheels straight - and go when you want to." The sister looked a little hesitant, so the brother added, "You have not had one where you went close to the edge." He praised her by saying that all of them had been perfect. "When you want to," he said as the sister took off, screaming as she went down the ramp straight and onward. Her brother followed behind shortly afterward.

The mom captioned the video, "Nothing fills my heart like watching him teach her something." She further explained how the siblings accomplished the task, "He started with helping her go down just a few feet up from the bottom. And then they increased the height a bit at a time until they reached the top this morning." She added, "I'm happy he knows he can teach. And teaching makes him happy." People took to the comments to talk about the adorable siblings and share their stories.

@maplenadfamily wrote, "I love the go whenever you want to'… My older brothers would've just pushed me down the ramp." @equine.embrace.hobbs commented, "What I see is good parenting. The kids are learning this behavior. So heartwarming to see. Nice job Mom and Dad. Or mom and mom or dad and dad." @dollarinthejar remarked, "I'm 33 and still remember all the things my brother Nicholas did for me as a child and when we became adults. I lost him in March of 2022. Warms my heart seeing stuff like this."

Another user expressed, "He not only taught her, he assured her, reassured her, showed observation, and gave her praise when she followed through with the direction on her time...He's a great big brother." @currentlycosmorgyral shared, "My big brother was the only one who was able to convince me to take the training wheels off my bike. Then he pushed me up our gravel road and gave me a pep talk. I ate shit, but I had the courage to get back up and try again. Just cause of my brother."

In another sibling story, an elder sibling used his first paycheck to gift sneakers and socks to his younger sibling. In the video, the older sibling enters a room with an orange packet and hands it to his younger sibling. As the younger one opens the packet, he is overjoyed to see the sneakers. The boy then ran to give his brother the biggest hug. He looked at the sneakers and hugged his brother once again. Soon, the older brother also gave his brother socks to go with the sneakers.
