When Paisly Hunt (@phbunny) shared a video featuring her brief romance with a man she met in Puerto Rico, she thought she was relishing her summer love online. But then the unbelievable happened. Connor, the guy's girlfriend, appeared in her comments with a shocking revelation. The video was shared on August 29, 2026, and it has since received over 10 million views on TikTok.

The plot twist
Paisly Hunt briefly explained in the caption that she posted the montage four months after her trip. Connor was just someone she met on her vacation and vibed with. She was not interested in him romantically. "It was just 'lore' that I met someone while traveling," Hunt explained. But Ava Higgins, Connor's girlfriend, called him out in the comments. She shared a photo of them and wrote, "Wow, I was his girlfriend of a year while you were with him there." The photo was taken a week after he came back from his boys' trip. Hunt explained in another video that she was single in Puerto Rico and did not know about Higgins. In fact, she found out about Connor's girlfriend only after she posted the video. After the truth came out, Hunt immediately removed the video, but Higgins asked her to put it back.

The truth got worse
After Hunt's video went viral, Higgins decided to address the video on her TikTok account. Apparently, her boyfriend had cheated on her with another girl before she saw Hunt's video. She had already broken up with Conner in May, a week after his trip. She later found out he kissed someone else during the trip as well, after one of his friends accidentally let it slip. Higgins only saw Hunt's video four months after she broke up with Connor.

The vacation excuse
People convince themselves that what happens on vacation stays on vacation, which is why most let their inhibitions free and act impulsively. In fact, when Radical Storage surveyed 1,231 Americans about their behavior on vacation, 56.5% said they would do something out of character during their trips. Similarly, 42.5% confessed that they broke the law while on vacation, and 41.3% went as far as cheating on their partners during their trip. Sadly, Connor fell into the latter category. Even Higgins said, "You can tell in the video, he seems to be acting single."
