Kylie Kelce’s revelation about Jason watching the kids stirs online debate: 'I make sure I’m covered'

Jason Kelce's wife, Kylie (McDevitt) Kelce, recently launched her podcast, "Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce" (@nglwithkylie), likely expecting casual chats and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. However, the first episode gained unexpected attention—and that too for all the wrong reasons! During the episode, Kylie was asked a straightforward question: would her husband, Jason, be taking care of their children in her absence? She paused, seemingly searching for the right words, and then, with a sheepish smile, replied, "How do I say this nicely? No!"

To clarify her statement, Kylie elaborated on how things work at home. "When I have to do something, coaching, something for the Eagles Autism Foundation, podcast, a doctor's appointment even, I will schedule childcare," she explained. She added that even if Jason informed her he’d be home, she would still arrange for childcare. "My husband could tell me 72 times that he is going to be in the house during the times when I have to leave it. I will still schedule childcare," she said with a straight face.

Kylie further clarified that her approach to childcare was "not a knock" on her husband but rather a reflection of Jason's packed schedule. "He is working so hard and really grinding right now, and so I just make sure that I'm covered," she shared. Kylie added, "He will not be watching the kids. He is not watching them right now. I think he is in meetings." With that, she moved on to the next question, but the damage was already done despite her efforts to frame her comments carefully.

While some praised Kylie for her honesty on the podcast, others criticized Jason for not watching his kids. @jeffhackworth commented, "He can't watch his own kids.
