Kindness makes the world a better place. Simple gestures filled with care can be incredibly impactful. So, when the locally owned pizza store PizzAroma had a big pizza order go unclaimed, they didn't know what to do. The small business has stores in three locations, and the Maumme location received a request for a large order last week, per 13abc. Rocky Keefer, manager of the store, spoke about how a woman called to place an order for 16 pizzas that would be picked up the next day. The next day, they made the order, and the woman called them right as it was about to get ready, but then never showed up.

Unfortunately, the 16 pizzas had to be thrown away and the restaurant was left with a hefty unpaid bill of $112. The manager was very sad to see somebody do this and wondered why anyone would do such a thing to a small business. However, the restaurant was in for a wholesome surprise when they got a call for another big order. The call was from a man who revealed that he wanted to pay for the 16 pizzas that were never picked up. Keefer was skeptical and thought the man was joking. However, when the man offered to pay over the phone, Keefer realized it was not a scam.

He mentioned that there were very few kind people like this out there who were ready to help people out. The stranger revealed himself to be Travis Truesdell. He had heard about what had happened and wanted to help the business. The man proceeded to pay the $112 unpaid tab and even purchased two other pizzas. He shared how he had immense gratitude when people helped him in similar situations and that he was happy to be in a place that allowed him to "pay it back." Truesdell happens to be a small business owner himself and is an army veteran.

He even worked in a pizza shop when he was younger. Truesdell reflected on how life is very short and that he felt prompted to do some good with all of the bad things going on in the world. Keefer shared that the generous veteran had also given all of the staff members a generous tip alongside the big order. Due to this incident, the pizza shop has now implemented a policy requiring upfront payment for orders of more than ten pizzas.

A little bit of kindness can go a long way in making the world a better place to live in. TikTok user @yu.yu5560 posted a video in which they helped a lost dog find its way back home. The most heartwarming part of the video is seeing how well the dog and the person worked together. It begins with the dog and the individual in the elevator, checking each floor of the building in the elevator. The duo was eventually able to find the dog's home, thanks to its awareness and the individual's helping hand.
