As the years have gone by, humans in general have become more selfish in their approach. Nobody wants to go out of their way to do anything for anybody. Time is money and people don't want to waste it on others. But this damages the potential of one of the most beautiful aspects of life: building relationships. If people don't respond to others reaching out, it will be impossible for people to form networks and foster bonds. Fortunately, Hailey Terry (@haileyoutside on Instagram) has been able to create such a network with her social media, who show up for her whenever needed, as revealed by a recent predicament in her life.

Hailey's family, after their trip to Paris, were in a state of despair after realizing that they had misplaced their boy's favorite toy, Cutie. She explains, "We took our kids to Paris and made a huge mistake. We left our son's special stuffed animal 'Cutie' in the Airbnb and didn't realize until we reached the airport." She added several snippets to show how much the boy was attached to the toy. He had it with him while walking, eating and sleeping. The toy was his companion and he had been parted from it. Hailey was very emotional about this, as she knew how much the toy meant to her son.

In the description, Hailey shares how they immediately contacted the host who asked the cleaners to look for it. The cleaners found it in good condition but the host refused to ship it. Their only choice was to hire a courier service which was extremely expensive for them. She shares in the video, "I felt terrible and reached out to my Instagram community to see if anyone was able to pick it up and ship it to us." To her delight, "the response was incredible."

Anna Kloots reached out to her and offered to help the mother with the situation. The mother added, "She didn’t even follow me, but one of my followers had sent her my story and she came to our rescue." The video showed how Hailey's son instantly got a beaming smile on his face when he got the mail. He opened the package with his family and happiness was dripping from his face. After getting 'Cutie' out, he held him tightly, making many people's hearts go into a puddle.

She shared her gratitude to her followers in her caption: "I got hundreds of messages from people commiserating with me, reaching out to their local friends and missionaries, offering to have it shipped to their closer country and then ship it to me... It was all so kind."

The comments section loved this story of kindness and expressed their happiness for the boy. Anna Kloots herself responded to the adorable reunion, "This is adorable! So happy that I could help get cutie home." @chrisativity was glad that the child got his toy back and wrote, "A child's favorite stuffed animal is usually always their first best friend and the last thing they will ever get rid of. So glad he got it back!"
