Kid has priceless reaction after his teacher surprised him with a new drum set

The sort of joy and happiness that is evident on kids’ faces when given a gift is the best. They are also so adorably grateful to the ones who gift them what they need, be it a teacher or a parent. In a Reddit video posted by u/davidwallacecto, a child can be seen playing music on a bucket with his two drumsticks and it sounds amazing. After this, his teacher tells him, "Everybody wanted to get you a new set of drums and so I have a surprise for you. Come here." He looks shocked upon hearing that. He follows his teacher and she uncovers his new drums.

The child is unable to believe his eyes and moves around exclaiming, "Oh my God! Oh my God!" Then goes up to his teacher and says, "Thank you!" Later, he begins to play his new drums and he proves why he deserves it: he plays them beautifully well.

The post already has more than 85k upvotes on Reddit and is captioned, "Teacher surprises drummer student with a new drum set." The boy's name is said to be Alijah Lockhart and his teacher’s name is Stacy Caldwell, according to Legit. The same video was posted by @goodnewsdog last year on Instagram. It was captioned, "After his old drums were destroyed in a house fire, 10-year-old Alijah Lockhart was surprised by his music teacher, Stacy Caldwell, with a new drum set. Alijah will also be receiving an electronic drum set, a practice pad, and music books."
