Judge Judy found the whole case extremely ridiculous.

In a video shared from February 4, 2023, Judge Judy presided over a case where two women accused each other of assault, and both parties filed complaints against one another. Destany Arnold claimed that Zandore Nash, her ex-boyfriend, and his then-girlfriend, Jasmine Dancer, hit her car with a brick and injured her on June 25, 2017. After a round of questions to everyone involved, Judge Judy wondered what they were even fighting about. The case was separated into two parts, and both videos racked up a total of 56,700 likes, 4,880 comments, and 3.6 million views.

No source of income

Judge Judy began by asking Zandore Nash his age and occupation, only to find out that he was 22 years old, unemployed, and living with his mother. Even though he has a temp job, he did not make any money. Jasmine, his fiancée, was in the same boat. She was pregnant with their second child and unemployed. Both of them were living with Zandore's mother and sister. Judge Judy found it extremely ridiculous that they would even try to have a baby with no means to support themselves.

When she asked Zandore if his mother supported them, he responded, "Kinda, sorta." To make matters worse, Zandore's sister, who was also unemployed, had just had a baby, and his mother, who works as a teacher, supported them all with her single income.

Dated her friend

Before all this happened, Destany and Jasmine were friends. Zandore and Destany dated in high school for six months between July and December 2014. However, they have had no contact since the summer of 2016, after she called him, and he hung up on her. At the time, Destany did not know Zandore was dating her friend. A year later, Destany was allegedly attacked by Zandore and Jasmine while she was in her car.

When Judge Judy asked what the reason behind their fight was, Jasmine had no idea, but she pointed out Destany's history of violence and arrests. Luckily, all these cases against Destany were dismissed, so Judge Judy decided to do the same. However, she was baffled that these two women were fighting over a man who had no steady income, still living with his mother, all while depending on her financially.

44% not friends with exes

After Destany and Zandore broke up, she tried to contact him a few years later, but he shut her down. Jasmine was present when Destany called, and she recalled laughing at her former friend. A YouGov survey found that only 37% Americans prefer not to remain friends with their exes. 34% were not sure, and only 29% wanted to continue being friends with their exes. The respondents also revealed that 44% were not friends with their exes, 37% are friends with a select few, and 17% were friends with all their exes. Although Destany and Zandore's relationship ended years ago, it shows that some relationships have lingering drama.

People in the comments had mixed opinions about Judge Judy's segment. Some noted how she was against Zandore from the very beginning and chose not to listen to him, while others thought the entire situation was unnecessary and that all parties had to grow up. Desmond Baker wrote, "I applaud bro for keeping his composure. I like JJ, but she was doing a lot with the repetitive line of questioning." Connie Latham added, "I love what J.J said about the two twits fighting over this boy. And I love that people applauded!"
