John Stamos, the renowned actor, has carried a deep and abiding love for Disney since his formative years. From his childhood days spent immersing himself in the enchanting worlds of Disney movies to his admiration for the magical theme parks, Stamos has always cherished the magic and wonders that Disney embodies.

However, it was a transformative conversation with fellow actor Ryan Gosling that truly cemented Stamos' unwavering dedication to all things Disney as he embraced adulthood. The actor recently appeared on the "Baby, This is Keke Palmer" podcast and both Stamos and Palmer spoke about their mutual love for Disney, as reported by TODAY.

Palmer asked him if he knew about the term "Disney adult" and how people find it "strange." He responded, "Well, I think they’re strange. It’s great if you have kids, but adulting is so cool there because there are so many other things to do.”

The actor didn't always think this way earlier about Disney theme parks. He recalled thinking, “Who’s gonna take me seriously with the Mickey Mouse stuff? I gotta sort of distance myself from it.” However, then he shared that he met Ryan Gosling at an event that really changed his perspective. “He’s like, ‘You’re a Disney fan?’ I go, ‘Yeah.' He goes, ‘I’m obsessed. I’m a Disney adult. I go there by myself. I wear headphones. I go on rides, I have a mixtape,'” per The Hollywood Reporter.

After this conversation, Stamos felt like he could think of becoming a part of the fandom. “I go, ‘Yeah, me too. I’m a Disney guy too,'” he added. “So that kind of turned the corner for me.”

Palmer revealed how Disney reminds her of the wholesome childhood she had. Stamos felt the same as he shared, “I had a nice, happy childhood and I’m sure you did too, so I wasn’t running away from anything. But I think it really defined who I am as an artist, as a human, because it was just so full of love and optimism and happiness. You go through the turnstile and I think that’s what Disney wanted you to feel, but everything else goes away.”

Over the years, the actor and his family had several milestones at the Disney theme park. He proposed to his wife, Caitlin McHugh, at Disneyland in October 2017, less than six months before the couple's wedding. Also, they celebrated their honeymoon at Disney World, with Stamos sharing that they spent the night in Cinderella Castel at Magic Kingdom. Moreover, his wife is a bigger fan than him.

Now, the couple takes their 5-year-old son, Billy, to Disney as a family. The actor said Billy loves Disney but is not a big fan of the rides. However, his wife takes their son to the park every weekend for some family bonding time.
