It took John Cena exactly 46 seconds to show the world what a 'real man' looks like

Superheroes may not be real, but they can inspire millions of people to fight real-life battles and overcome several challenges. A truly wholesome moment between a superfan and John Cena was shared on MEGACON Orlando's (@megaconorlando) Instagram account on March 22.
Cena, a renowned WWE wrestler and actor who played the role of "Peacemaker," was taking questions from fans at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida, when one fan stood up. He shared some of his personal health struggles with the actor and asked if he could have a hug. Without any hesitation, Cena got down from the stage and walked towards his fan to embrace him.
In the now viral video, netizens are talking about how it only took John Cena 46 seconds to show what a wonderful human being he is. While the fan was speaking, Cena was listening intently without interrupting. In a shaky voice, the fan shared that he is currently going through stage four cancer, he just had a spinal fusion, and he had a brain tumor. Throughout these health issues, he told Cena that it was he who gave him the will to fight. He also revealed the news that he will have to undergo more surgery in the same week. Close to tears, the fan said, "I wanted to know if I could hug you, or see you." Cena was already walking towards the stairs when he responded with, "Absolutely."

Wearing a "You Can't See Me" T-shirt, the fan was seen running towards his celebrity hero, and they shared a long hug. The fan and Cena can be seen exchanging a few unintelligible words mid-hug. The crowd roared, cheering and applauding the WWE star and the man. After the two men were done hugging, Cena pulled his fan in one more time for another hug, showing just how much he cares about a random stranger who looks up to him.
One of Cena's popular catchphrases, "Never Give Up," has empowered many struggling fans throughout the years. At the moment, Cena holds the Guinness World Record for the most wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The current number of wishes he has granted is 650 in total.
Similar to Cena's superfan, Yuting Zhou is another individual who was inspired by a cartoon superhero to become a "Changemaker." UNICEF recognizes Yuting for her efforts to create a change in the environment by being a part of the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Young Changemakers Programme. She revealed that she was inspired by Captain Planet, an environmentalist superhero, from the young age of six.

The video has reached 8.6 million views, 907k likes, and more than 12.4k comments. @the_real_reas0n commented, "Walked off stage with the quickness and hugged him with everything he had, what a f*cking man." @martynfordofficial shared, "Having spent time with this man, I can tell you, everything you see is real. He has the hugest heart; @johncena is an unreal human." @felly_guerrero wrote, "He really needed that hug, bro. John Cena is a beautiful man. Very happy to be a fan of his."
