A job description from a car wash company called "Magic Car Wash" has occupied a spot on the list of trends for all the wrong reasons. A user on Reddit, u/Scorp1979, shared the job posting on the platform and it has sparked an intense debate about work-life balance. The job description read, "Workers needed." However, in the part where a list of skills and qualities the employer wanted in the worker should have been listed, there was a list of things the employer didn't expect from the prospective candidate.

The bizarre job post had people on the platform wondering what must have pushed a person to write such a description or maybe the boss was simply not accommodating underprivileged people. Regardless of their assumptions, the job description prompted people to wonder about the difference between having reasonable expectations and being a complaining boss.

The job description further read, "Please do not apply if you oversleep, have court often, do not have a babysitter every day, have to get rides to work later than our workday begins, experience flat tires every week, have to hold a cell phone all day, or will become an expert at your job with no need to take advice after the first day." The demands for the job profile left people flabbergasted. It also added, "Must be able to talk and work at the same time."

The next sentence in the description was borderline hilarious. The requirement mentioned, "Must also remember to come back to work after lunch... Should not expect to receive gold stars for being on time." The description concluded with a subtle request, "If you qualify, please fill out an application. Thank you." Commenters debated if the person hiring for the post was actually trying to discourage workers from applying for the position from the beginning. Some people also thought the employer's expectations were reasonable and it was a pity they had to write it down for people to follow through. Others wondered if the pay offered at the place matched the expectations they had from workers.

u/boredomspren_ wrote, "I gotta say those seem like absolutely reasonable requirements for a job. Basically, please show up to work. This is hardly an unhinged rant." While u/HollowPhoenix said, "May as well shorten the entire sign to 'Workers needed, but not wanted.'" u/winthroprd added, "This is like when you come across a dating profile where they have a long rant about how they don't want to date unserious losers. Like the emotion is understandable, but you sound unhinged to put it at the forefront like that."

u/rabbitskittles chimed in, "When you lead with all the things you don't want, rather than the things you're looking for, it gives the impression you're a negative person that will be constantly looking for flaws or dealbreakers to justify ending things, rather than someone actually interested in a functional, two-way relationship. This applies to both dating and employment."
