'Right now I'm working on the show 'The Bear,' it's got a lot of heart. That is no accident,' White said in his acceptance speech.

Jeremy Allen White won the 2023 Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in "The Bear." One would think that after such a huge win, the actor would display the award in a space where everybody could see it. But no, White made sure that it is kept in his "children's bedroom," according to PEOPLE. White has two kids, Ezer, 4, and Dolores, 2, with his wife Addison Timlin. His children seem to be his biggest fans, and the actor confessed that his daughters would be keeping an eye on the award at home. "They've started calling these Daddy's trophy winner cups and they really like them, so they can hang onto them for me," he said of his kids.

According to Netflix, White said in his acceptance speech at the SAG Awards, "I love actors, I love what I do, and I feel so lucky to get to do it. And to all of you that make things here, that makes me feel a little less lonely, that makes me feel a little more connected, more understood, and a lot more understanding — I thank you so much.”

"You know, I just love everybody in that room so much. I'm such an admirer of all of them and yeah, it's hard to get up there in front. But I did and now I'm here and I feel good, I feel good," he said.

He added, "It's really special. I think I always dreamed, ever since I was a kid, of finding my circle a little bit, and I've been acting for a long time, and in recent years, I've started feeling like I'm part of the community, and feel this embraced, it's special, really." White accepted the award from presenters, Ashley Park and Haley Lu Richardson. He also thanked the creator of the series Christopher Storer for giving the show "a lot of heart."

"This is from my peers, this is from the actors," White said in his acceptance speech. "Right now I'm working on the show, 'The Bear,' it's got a lot of heart. That is no accident," White continued. "I really think that translates. I think that that connects, and thank God for that." This is not the only award that the actor has won for his portrayal of chef Carmy Berzatto. He won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series (Comedy of Musical), as reported by Romper.

White and his wife, Addison Timlin, met on the sets of another series, "Afterschool," in 2008. They were friends for years before officially announcing that they are a couple on Instagram in 2016. They welcomed their first daughter Ezer in 2018 and got married in 2019. A year later, they had their second daughter, Dolores, whom White calls "Louie." The actor also revealed last year that he cooks breakfast for his daughters every day. He admitted that it's "nothing terribly fancy." However, he mentioned that thanks to the "The Bear" series his "IRL knife skills" have really improved.

It has definitely helped him be a better chef at home. White said, “I did Christmas Eve dinner, I did Christmas Day dinner for me and my family — all big meals. I love a Sunday roast. I love something really hearty, almost wintry comfort food. I'll do short ribs, roasted vegetables, some kind of potato. That's what I like to make and what I like to eat.”
