Lopez honors her trainer, Tracy Anderson, for encouraging her during her most vulnerable moments as a new mother.
Jennifer Lopez is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Over the years, she has garnered compliments about how she has maintained her fitness and has set new benchmarks. Lopez has always displayed confidence in regards to her body and for the first time, is taking people behind the scenes to showcase her more vulnerable self. During a function honoring her trainer, Tracy Anderson, she shared her thoughts about the space she was in after becoming a mother, as reported by E! Online. She explained how her trainer helped her to pull through and become her best self.
The actress was present at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles to honor her friend and trainer Tracey Anderson with the Outstanding Achievement in Fitness award at the Daytime Beauty Awards on October 1. On the stage, Lopez shared how their relationship started when the actress became a mother to her twins. The singer continued how she owes so much of her progress to Anderson, "I've been doing a lot of reflection lately, revisiting the past versions of myself to fully embrace me of now. And I'm reminded of how much Tracy has inspired and encouraged me to celebrate every version of my body over the years and to continue to elevate as my own life and needs changed."
Lopez stated how she was at a very vulnerable point in her life when she met Anderson. She was a new mom and like so many other women, had doubts about whether she would ever get back to the shape she was before giving birth. More importantly, whether she would be able to feel the way she did in regards to her appearance before pregnancy. At such a crucial juncture, Anderson gave her the confidence she needed. "She came into my life and helped me embrace the new me and help me to be and to realize that I could be stronger than I ever had before," the actress said.
The actress has been asked multiple times about the secret to her beauty. She could not escape it here, as well. She humbly chimed in that there is nothing spectacular present in her routine and all she does is be dedicated to healthy living so that she, like many of Anderson's clients, can be "in the best shape of their lives at all times of their lives."
Lopez might have had her struggles with her post-birth body, but she enjoys her role as a mother. Like every other mother, she is going through this topsy-turvy route of bringing up her children in the world. "It's challenging. You have this baby for a while and then it's like, your best little friend who loves being with you all the time and then all of a sudden it's like, 'Get out of my room,'" she explained in her interview with PEOPLE. Despite these typical differences, the mother of two shared that her children are "proud" of her achievements.

Anderson has many more A-listers in her roster apart from Lopez. She has worked with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston as clients. While talking about her success on the red carpet of the Los Angeles event, she said, "I really think that I have been lucky enough to have been in training with very smart, smart people and that really care about their art and their longevity and ability to be able to do that art. And they know that I did the work to know what I'm doing," per E! Online.
