Jennifer Lopez reveals that she gets death stares from her teenagers, Emme and Max, both 15. The "On My Way" singer is a world-renowned pop star, but no matter how famous you get, your kids will always be embarrassed by everything you do. In a hilarious Instagram post, as reported by She Knows, JLo was dressed in a fur coat with oversized sunglasses at an SZA concert. She smiles, then pans to her children, who were swooning over the "Kill Bill" singer onstage. Like any other parent, JLo accompanied her kids to a concert by their favorite artist while their mom tried to capture every moment on her phone. "Thank you, @SZA," JLo captioned the video. "Seeing your kids happy is priceless.🤍" (This was right before I got the death stare to stop filming.) #TeenageKidsLife #SOStour

No kids appreciate it when parents film them on their phones, and even JLo's kids are embarrassed despite their mom being one of the biggest stars of all time. Maybe as they grow up and become parents themselves, the kids will realize how important it is to appreciate every moment parents spend with them. Many parents in the comments related to JLo being stared down by her kids. "The death stares from teens: the one thing that is constant regardless of wealth, race, religion, occupation, etc," commented @kristymosesmurray. "Welcome to the motherhood of teenagers! They will never understand us until they become parents themselves ❤️," added @y_esco_chayl.

JLo shares Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and the duo have been outspoken about co-parenting and how the two have remained close friends even after their divorce in July 2011. JLo described Anthony as a "best friend" and told PEOPLE in 2017 that they would continue to stay in a good place for the sake of their children. "At first, I was like, ‘We’re good with the kids and everything, but if we start working together, are we going to start going at each other again?’" admits the legendary entertainer. "And it’s been awesome. Honestly, I think it’s even helped our relationship." "We’re just in a great place, and the kids get to spend more time with the two of us and see us working together," continues Lopez. "It’s just good for the whole family."

In an interview with Vogue in 2022, Lopez opened up about parenting. "The beauty of being a parent is that you think you’re going to teach them all these things, and you do. You pass on all the things that you know, all the knowledge you have." She went on, "But at the end of the day, they wind up teaching you so much and reminding you of the things you need to know about life and how to love somebody and how to care for people." Affleck, on the other hand, shares daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and a son Samuel, 11, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. According to a source from Entertainment Tonight, Graner and Affleck are "doing fantastic" and are "incredibly supportive of one another."

Describing Lopez and Anthony's co-parenting relationship as "healthy," the source noted, "She always wants what's best for him. She's happy for Marc and [his new wife] Nadia [Ferreira], and he feels the same about Jen and Ben." The kids from both sides continue to live in harmony, and their parents could not be happier. "Their families are continuing to mesh well together, and their kids are getting along for the most part," the source tells ET. "They know they live a very privileged life and are grateful for all the opportunities they're given." The source adds that all four parents "do their best to reiterate how important it is to be appreciative and ensure that they’re all taken care of and feel loved and supported."
