We have all loved Jennifer Aniston since she played Rachel Green on the popular sitcom, "Friends." Having witnessed her growth and some of the hurdles she encountered both in her personal and professional lives, her fans are highly invested in her love life and have strong opinions about whoever she dates. And of course, as with all friendships, her friends are no different when it comes to discussing any love interest in her life.

One such friend is her fellow actor and "Murder Mystery 2" co-star, Adam Sandler. During an appearance on "The Tonight Show," the actress recalled how her first meeting with Sandler was at a San Fernando Valley deli when both of them were in their 20s. It prompted host Jimmy Fallon to ask her what advice they had exchanged on life over the years.

"If I get anything from him, it's 'What are you doing!?' usually based on someone I'm dating," Aniston answered on the show, "[he says] 'What's wrong with you?'" she said while doing an impression of Sandler.

According to HuffPost, Aniston's love life has included marriages to actors Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux and relationships with Tate Donovan, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer. During her appearance on the show, Aniston also discussed with Fallon how she does "very much love to take care of" Sandler, who was recently honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center, reports PEOPLE.

"He's so concerned with taking care of everybody else, which he really does, and he doesn't take care of himself. I'm sorry to call you out on national television Adam, but you have to know this," she said. She also shared that she made him smoothies and provided Chinese herbs on the set to make him follow a healthier lifestyle. "And [Sandler's wife Jackie Sandler]'s like, 'Thanks, it lasted a minute,'" Aniston joked.

Sandler has found a good friend in Aniston and this was very evident on the evening of his Mark Twain Prize ceremony. According to PEOPLE, Aniston and Drew Barrymore discussed how Sandler has always been there for them over the years. "We should do that movie that you and I have been talking about," Aniston said, and Barrymore, 48, responded: "You mean the one where we don't need that goofy boyfriend?"

Most recently, Sandler and Aniston have come together on-screen for the movie, "Murder Mystery 2." As per an official synopsis of the movie, they "are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private-eye agency off the ground when they're invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja on his private island."

"When you meet back up with us, we're not doing that great," Aniston told Fallon about the movie. "So we get invited to a wonderful wedding of someone wonderful, we say: 'We need a break, we need a vacation.' And that's where our mistakes happen."

"Murder Mystery 2" will stream on Netflix on March 31, 2023.
