There are plenty of couples on the internet who enact scenarios from each other's lives for entertainment. Alessio Pasini, an Italian man and his American wife, Jessi Higgins, are just the same and they are winning the hearts of netizens with their comic video showing the cultural differences between their home countries. On the couple's joint Instagram account @thepasinis, the husband has shared a rather humorous take on the daily life of an average American person, from sunrise to bedtime, and it has left viewers in splits.

The dramatic Instagram reel, which has amassed over 8 million views, shows Pasini waking up in the morning with a bright smile on his face as the overlay text reads: "I wake up so excited for another day of working." After that, he proceeds to recite the national anthem of America while standing in front of the American flag. Pasini then makes his "amazing American coffee" which is actually just hot water poured into soil representing coffee. "I'm looking for breakfast but there are no cold pizzas so I have to skip," Pasini sarcastically opens and closes the fridge with disappointment as the overlay text shows his inner thoughts.

He even inspects a single apple kept on the kitchen counter before ignoring it and calling it "cute." He shows how awfully long it takes a working American to commute to their workplace and then pokes fun at the hectic work culture of the country. He only gets "five minutes" of lunch break at his office desk and can only afford to order some "fast food" to eat while he is still working. He licks the grease from the food sticking to his fingers and continues to work.

"After a short 14 hours, it's dark," Pasini jokingly adds to the overlay text and it addresses the excruciatingly long hours that an average American has to work in order to have a decent life. Pasini returns home and plops into his bed, still in his work clothes and caresses a dollar bill lying next to him as he falls asleep. The Italian man, who used satire to point out some of the common issues faced by Americans on a daily basis, immediately became relatable to numerous people who are trying to make ends meet in the US.

One viewer named Eros Dural even joked that "it's called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it." Jim Cole added: "The only lie I spotted was having money to tuck away at the end of the day." Squonk shared their experience and wrote: "I am American and have actually worked a 14hr shift after having cold pizza for breakfast and a 5 minute fastfood lunch at my desk. I'm sorry about what we do to coffee and pretty much everything else we touch." Karen Hashtag hilariously added: "Me watching this as I am eating at my desk."

Pasini and his wife continue to give their viewers giggles with regular videos on the polarizing lifestyle and work culture of America and Italy. They even poke fun at the stereotypical representation of these two countries.
