Liv (@Liv Volpe), a 24-year-old woman, was out for a drive with her dad when a creep catcalled her. She was shocked; she couldn't believe someone would dare to do that in broad daylight. Liv immediately informed her Italian father, and what followed was peak dad energy. She posted his reaction on Instagram, where several viewers wished they could be adopted into the family.

Liv and her father were in the car when a guy made a weird gesture and winked at her. "Did you just see that?" she asked her dad, who looked equally shocked by the incident. The father was livid and said, "Oh, you can video this," before starting his vehicle to chase down the creepy guy. Liv was a bit scared because she thought the guy must be dangerous and hurt them if they confronted him, but nothing convinced her dad to stop. They even saw the guy running when he noticed them following him, and Liv's dad just sped up to catch him. "You better f****** run," he shouted; however, the guy escaped, and he couldn't confront him. But Liv's father, instead of leaving the matter there, decided to follow the creep further. He even parked his vehicle and waited for the guy to show up. "What if he has a gun?" Liv asked, only to hear her dad reply, "I got guns." But the guy didn't show up, and Liv somehow convinced her father to return home.  People may laugh at Liv's father's reaction, but you can't ignore the fact that catcalling has become 'too common' in society.

In fact, a survey conducted by Hollaback involved over 16,000 women from 21 countries and found that most women experience catcalling at a very young age. Yes, they found that 84% of women are harassed on the street even before they turn 17. While 50% of respondents reported being groped or fondled in public, 71% reported being followed by harassers. Such incidents are so common that 93% of girls and young women do not feel "completely safe" in public places, according to the State of Girls’ Rights in the UK 2024 report.

Meanwhile, reacting to the hilarious Instagram reel, @therealhayleyjaymes commented, "Do you think your dad could adopt me? I'd love a father who would have my back like that! He's so awesome, lol." Similarly, @622studiosphotography shared, "I had a grown-up man look me up and down at a movie when I was with my dad when I was 13. My dad calmly stood up and bounced that dude's forehead off the seat in front of him. He left the movie with a face full of blood. I miss my dad." @obvii_tay commented, "'Oh, you can video this.' Your dad wanted you to rewatch it to see what happens with disrespect, haha." @miheaohdabaddie confessed, "Now, I’m expecting every man who becomes a father does this for his daughter."
