Valentine's Day is an annual celebration of love and romantic connections. The special occasion reminds couples to express their emotions openly and strengthen their bond through meaningful gestures. Whether through gifts, intimate dinner dates or simple words of affirmation, Valentine's Day is an opportunity for people to cherish their bonds while creating long-lasting memories. Quang Thanh—who goes by @bepkis on TikTok—found herself on the receiving end of one such romantic gesture when her boyfriend, an IT professional, designed a personalized website as part of an elaborate gesture to ask her to be his Valentine. The creative and heartfelt effort struck a chord with viewers, quickly going viral online.

Thanh shared a video that beautifully captures the essence of modern romance, showcasing the meticulously designed program created by her IT-savvy boyfriend. The video’s overlay text, "POV: Your IT boyfriend asks you to be his Valentine," set the tone for the boyfriend’s unique and creative approach to popping the question. With just a few clicks, the boyfriend turned a traditional gesture into a tech-savvy love letter, flaunting both his technical skills and top-notch creativity. Meanwhile, Thanh covered her mouth in total disbelief as she answered the questions on the screen.

The questions in the "digital letter" were about what Thanh wanted their Valentine's Day date to be like, her food preferences, her favorite dessert and more. The specially curated program ended with a heartwarming note that read, "Thank You for being my girlfriend." The TikTok video quickly gained popularity on social media with over eight million views. People on the platform applauded the unique blend of romance and technology, appreciating the man for going the extra mile to make Valentine's Day memorable.

It was just so cute." @yugere_ wrote, "My ex couldn't even send me a single text on Valentine's Day." Similarly, @myracolits22 added, "Hope to have someone like this. My boyfriend can't even greet me lol!" @keeeeeeee583 said, "TikTok, please stop! I was crying hard five minutes ago and now you're showing me videos of Valentine's even though it's long over." Similarly, in another Valentine's Day proposal, a five-year-old kid won hearts by asking his classmate, Lyla, to be his Valentine. Not only did the little boy dress up in a dapper suit, he also got some pretty flowers and a stuffed toy for his date. Like a true gentleman, he knocked on her door and waited patiently outside the house. Lyla's dad opened the door and was stunned to see the boy standing outside in the freezing temperature. Upon seeing Lyla, he handed over the gifts to her and wished her "Happy Valentine's Day."  The boy's mother, Shelby Small (@shelbysmall1), shared the cute video on TikTok. She revealed that her son had planned the whole surprise by himself, and she just helped him in execution.
