This cat found a second chance at finding a loving owner who is always there to give her nightly cuddles.
There is a reason why people must be careful before adopting or buying a pet. Imagine taking a pet home and then regretting your decision, only to surrender it back to the shelter you brought it from. It might not affect humans, but it certainly does affect the pet looking for affection and a forever home. Similarly, a black and white cat named Ellie was given up by her previous owners for a peculiar reason. When the X handle of @PicturesFoIder posted about it, the online community was left raging and worrying about the fate of the poor feline.
The picture on X captured Ellie, the cat, behind a glass enclosure, playing with a white blanket. Alongside Ellie's picture, there were some details printed out on a form about the cat by Pet Smart Charities. Ellie was mentioned to be a 4-year-old female who was vaccinated and spayed. Then, there was a section that helped potential adopters know more about the cat and how she ended up back at the shelter in the first place

"I was returned because I wanted to sleep with my human at night and I wasn't allowed to. So, I would cry outside the bedroom door," the message on the form read where somebody had written it from Ellie's point of view. But Ellie's life was about to take another turn when Sammi (@clairyjoe on X) decided to adopt her and give Ellie the forever home she deserved. Replying to the initial post about Ellie, Sammi wrote to everyone's delight, "Hey, hi. I adopted her and she's super happy and loved."

Ever since then, Sammi has opened an Instagram page called @ellie_petsmartsweetie, which is dedicated to her two cats, Ellie and Bubby. She continues to post pictures of the cat and according to the bio on the Instagram page, Ellie can get her much-deserving cuddles whenever she wants and wherever she wants. She won't have to fear getting returned to the pet shelter ever again. Now, the lucky feline not only gets cuddles from her owner but from fellow residents of the apartment complex she lives in. A mom of 4, @XianJaneway on X, who owns the apartment Sammi rents, wrote in a separate post while posing with Ellie, "This cat actually lives under my roof now. Ellie was adopted by my friend @clairyjoe, who rents our upstairs. Ellie now gets all the snuggles."

@DogsDogsMoreDog wrote, "This is such good news to hear she has a home and is loved!! I was so angry knowing someone returned her because all she did was try to cuddle someone at night. You did a wonderful thing, and I wish you both the best." Sammi replied to this comment and wrote, "She's truly a blessing. I'm lucky to have her. I try not to think about her time before me too much because I sob every time. She's so precious." @brisofa quipped, "And a cuddle from me too, please. What a gorgeous kitty! Fancy being rejected for being affectionate and loving." @kait26xo wondered, "Thank you for unbreaking my heart. I want a cuddle cat so bad and to think someone would surrender a cat for that? Then why do you want a cat?"
OKAY BUT DOES SHE HAVE HER OWN BLANKEY FOR THE BED CAUSE IF NOT SHE DESERVES ONE!
