Puzzles and other brainstorming games are perhaps one of the best things that come to parents’ rescue to keep their kids indulged and busy. Requiring all of their attention together with their determination to succeed in answering, kids spend all their energy on solving the same. However, a dad revealed that he was surprised when he and his kids together could not seem to complete a brainstorming challenge. Reddit user u/ncastrinos mentioned that he and his kids could not complete an activity sheet. The latter was that of a “Find the Object” activity, which had a printed picture and a list of items kids were to spot.

The sheet was from an eatery named “Chuy’s” that guaranteed a $2 off on a t-shirt for anyone who could spot all 13 items in the image. The image was a complex one, with symmetrical and asymmetrical patterns, overlapping and camouflaging prints, making it tough to spot the items. One would have to pay detailed attention to find the same even though it was seemingly right in front of their eyes. The items were mostly food items or those related to the eatery. For instance, avocado, cheese, a t-shirt and so on were a few of the items on the list. However, each of these was printed in a way that it would easily escape the eye.

The dad and his kids had found 12 out of 13 items, all of which were circled in red. The only one remaining was a triangular chip. Asking Reddit users for help, the dad wrote, “Find the chip” and emphasized that he and his kid couldn’t. “We were waiting for food, and my daughter was completing the puzzle. She asked for help with this item. My wife and I couldn’t find it, so I decided to post to Reddit for help,” the dad recalled, per Newsweek. After searching, Reddit users tried to come to the rescue. The chip they were required to look for was a triangle with 3 dots or spots on it. People went all out to find the chip. Many people were super disappointed and spent several minutes spotting the chip, but in vain. Others tried various tactics and were able to successfully spot the chip.

One big, two little.” To the dad’s luck and with the supportive gaze of over thousands of people, the chip was finally spotted. The dad shared his immense gratitude in a comment after receiving the answer. He said, “We all feel like idiots. We looked at that thing for a solid 5 minutes. There are some happy kids now. Thanks Reddit!”
